To explore content experts' experiences with item vetting during item bank development at a public sector medical university of Rawalpindi, Pakistan. ⋯ The consistent implementation of item vetting routines, in conjunction with diligent adherence to item writing protocols, contributes to quality assurance measures in assessment. Item bank development for fair and transparent assessment ensures production of competent healthcare professionals filtering incompetent ones hence improving health care services in the community.

To know about the trends in the management of neck of femur fractures with arthroplasty in patients ≥ 50 years. ⋯ One quarter of the patients had cemented stem implanted compared to three quarter of the patients who had non-cemented stem.

To assess the effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nutrition treatment (Bushenhuoxue nutritional decoction) in overweight patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). ⋯ Combined with conventional drug treatment, TCM nutrition treatment can significantly improve glucose and lipid metabolism, hormone levels, and TCM syndrome of overweight PCOS patients, increase the ovulation and pregnancy rates, and reduce potential adverse reactions.

To identify independent risk factors of pulmonary infection in intensive care unit (ICU) patients, and to construct a prediction model. ⋯ Age, length of stay in ICU, invasive operation, diabetes, duration of mechanical ventilation, and state of consciousness are risk factors for pulmonary infection in ICU patients. The nomogram prediction model constructed based on the above risk factors has shown a good predictive value.

To investigate risk factors for severe maternal morbidity (SMM) in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) and to develop a risk prediction model. ⋯ Our prediction model can be used to determine gestational hypertension severity in pregnant women.
