To determine the association between ethnicity, environmental factors, lifestyle factors, chronic diseases and pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PEX). ⋯ Individuals with Pathan ethnicity and asthmatics should be made aware of the risk of developing PEX and the importance of periodic screening. Limiting exposure to sunlight and cold and reducing the intake of tea may help in reducing in the chances of developing PEX.

To quantify satisfaction among pharmacists working in pharmaceutical sales or marketing in Pakistan. ⋯ It was concluded that the respondents were dissatisfied due to number of issues including disturbance in their personal life, lack of promotion and incentives among study participants.

To evaluate the outcomes of secondary autologous dermis-fat graft as an orbital implant in anophthalmic sockets. ⋯ Regardless of the small sample size, this procedure proved to be a safe and effective method for augmenting orbital volume in anophthalmic sockets in children and adults.

Subjective memory complaints (SMCs) are suggested to predict dementia at a very early stage. However, association of SMCs with known risk factors of dementia namely diabetes mellitus Type-2 diabetes and hypertension (HTN) remain unexplored which is the main aim of this study. The objective of the study was to investigate the association of SMC with diabetes mellitus type 2 (DM2) and hypertension (HTN). ⋯ Compared to healthy adults of working age-group, persons with diabetes and hypertension were more likely to have SMCs. Assessment and early detection of SMCs in persons with diabetes and hypertension might be informative to provide a window for effective interventions to maintain cognitive health.

To develop an indigenous anxiety scale for adults and to assess the prevalence of anxiety among the adults. ⋯ The anxiety scale for adults is a reliable indigenous scale for measuring anxiety in adults. Further, the prevalence rate of anxiety in adult population is alarming indication and middle and late adulthood suffered more anxiety as compare to early adulthood.
