Development, Reliability, and Validity of the Home Blood Pressure Monitoring Adherence Scale for Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease.
Home blood pressure monitoring helps patients with chronic kidney disease to improve blood pressure control and can predict cardiovascular events, renal function progress, and risk of death. Few instruments are available to assess patient adherence to home blood pressure monitoring. ⋯ The scale has good reliability and validity for patients with chronic kidney disease, representing an efficient instrument for clinical assessment of home blood pressure monitoring adherence.

"Mastering a New Life Situation" - Patients' Preferences of Treatment Outcomes in Early Rheumatoid Arthritis - A Longitudinal Qualitative Study.
To explore patients' preferred treatment outcomes during their first two years with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). ⋯ The patients' preferred treatment outcomes during the first two years with RA were to master their new life situation and changed from a preference to return to a life lived prior disease onset, to a preference of living with quality of life, despite RA. This study increases the understanding of patients' preferred treatment outcomes in the early disease course and can be a foundation for tailoring interventions to be more person-centered and to improve long-term treatment outcomes.

Effectiveness of a Patient-Centered Weight Management Model in a Community Pharmacy: An Interventional Study.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the provision of a professional pharmaceutical patient-centered model in a weight management program and optimization of the medication in a Spanish community pharmacy. ⋯ The implementation of a patient-centered weight management model had a positive impact on the improvement of anthropometric, clinical and therapeutic parameters.

Case ReportsA Comparison of the Effects of Teach-Back and Motivational Interviewing on the Adherence to Medical Regimen in Patients with Hypertension.
Arterial hypertension is considered a chronic medical problem and also a challenging condition. The present study aimed to compare the effects of motivational interviewing and teach-back on people with hypertension. ⋯ Both teach-back and motivational interviewing increased the adherence to the hypertension treatment regimen; however, motivational interviewing was more effective compared to teach-back in boosting adherence to the hypertension treatment regimen.

Nonadherence to Treatment and Patient-Reported Outcomes of Psoriasis During the COVID-19 Epidemic: A Web-Based Survey.
The COVID-19 epidemic has caused difficulties in continuous treatment for patients with chronic diseases and resulted in nonadherence to treatment and adverse health outcomes. This study aimed to investigate the associations of nonadherence to treatment with patient-reported outcomes of psoriasis during the COVID-2019 epidemic. ⋯ Nonadherence to treatment was associated with the aggravation of psoriasis conditions, perceived stress, and symptoms of anxiety and depression.
