Help-Seeking Preferences to Informal and Formal Source of Care for Depression: A Community-Based Study in Northwest Ethiopia.
Globally, 350 million people are suffering from depression. Many people suffering from depression use different sources of help for their problems. People with different mental health problems seek help from formal and/or informal sources. This gives crucial information on community beliefs and perception regarding their preference for help. This study helps to guide effective planning and provision of mental health services, and health policy of the country to explore the community's preference to different sources of help. ⋯ The result suggests that the majority of the residents had a higher preference to seek help from informal sources than formal sources of care. Providing and strengthening both formal and informal sources of help in conjunction are crucial to get a more qualified and effective care for depressed patients.

Evaluation of Post-Vaccination Symptoms of Two Common COVID-19 Vaccines Used in Abha, Aseer Region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT162b2) and the Oxford-AstraZeneca (ChAdOx1 nCoV-19) COVID-19 vaccines have shown promising safety and acceptability. However, COVID-19 vaccine side effects play an essential role in public vaccine confidence. We aimed to study the side effects of these COVID-19 vaccines. ⋯ The incidence of COVID-19 vaccination side effects in the Aseer region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was consistent with the manufacturers' data. The most common post-vaccination symptoms reported by the participants were fever, myalgia, malaise, fatigue, muscle and joint pain, and headache. The results of this study showed significant variation in adverse events between Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines. Healthcare providers and recipients of vaccines can be more confident about the safety of Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines.

Subcutaneous Interferon Beta Therapy in Multiple Sclerosis Patients - Characterization of Injection Site Reactions and Flu-Like Symptoms in a Daily Practice Setting - Results from the Non-Interventional Study PERFECT.
The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence of injection site reactions (ISR) and flu-like symptoms (FLS) during treatment with subcutaneous (SC) interferon (IFN) beta therapies and to document measures to mitigate and prevent ISR and FLS. ⋯ Although ISR were experienced by the majority of patients, they rarely resulted in treatment interruption. In this real-world setting, ISR and FLS management was in line with published expert recommendations.

Parents' Willingness to Vaccinate Their Children Against Seasonal Influenza After the COVID-19 Pandemic in Saudi Arabia: A Retrospective Cross-Sectional Survey.
To explore the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on caregivers' willingness to vaccinate their children against influenza in 2021 in Saudi Arabia and the factors influencing this decision. ⋯ Parents' decision-making to vaccinate their children against seasonal influenza has been influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic. Numerous factors including a caregiver who had received the seasonal influenza vaccine themselves, who had vaccinated or planned to vaccinate their children during the previous or current seasonal influenza season, and/or who had a higher education level were associated with increased willingness to receive the flu vaccine.

The Relationship Between COVID-19 Related Stress and Medication Adherence Among High-Risk Adults During the Acceleration Phase of the US Outbreak.
To assess the relationship between stress regarding COVID-19 and medication adherence. ⋯ Stress due to COVID-19 has significantly impacted medication adherence, which has negative implications for the course of both COVID-19 and comorbid conditions. Healthcare providers should be aware of the potential impact of COVID-19 on patients' mental and physical well-being and consider ways to routinely assess patient experiences.
