[Telomerase antisense inhibition and chemotherapeutic combination treatments for the proliferation of endometrial cancer in vitro and in vivo].
To investigate the antitumor effects of telomerase antisense oligodeoxynucleotide (AODN). ⋯ Antisesne oligonucleotide of hTERT effectively inhibits the abnormal activation of telomerase, thus the growth of endometrial cancer cells. Telomerase inhibitor may be a new strategy for chemotherapy or chemoprevention in endometrial cancer.

[Effects of doxycycline on the expression of matrix metalloproteinase and tissue inhibitor of MMP in myocardium after acute myocardial infarction: an animal experiment with rats].
To assess the effects of doxycycline, a matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) inhibitor, on the expression of MMP-8 and -13, and tissue inhibitor of MMP-1 and -2 (TIMP-1 and -2), and on collagen remodeling in the noninfarcted myocardium after acute myocardial infarction (AMI). ⋯ Doxycycline suppresses the enhanced mRNA and protein expressions of MMP-8 and 13 and TIMP-1 and 2, and type I collagen deposition in the noninfarcted myocardium after AMI, but it has no effect on type III collagen deposition.

[Effects of prone position ventilation on inflammatory factors in blood and bronchial alveolar lavage fluid of acute respiratory distress syndrome dogs caused by pulmonary and extrapulmonary insults].
To observe the changes of inflammatory factors in blood and bronchial alveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of different lung areas of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) dogs caused by pulmonary and extra-pulmonary causes with low tidal volume and positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP) treatment under prone position ventilation. ⋯ There are statistically those of the differences in inflammatory factor releasing in different lung areas between the ARDSp dogs and ARDSexp dogs, and low tidal volume and PEEP treatment under prone position ventilation shows good effects both on ARDSexp dogs and ARDSp dogs.
