Randomized Controlled Trial[Pressure therapy of hypertrophic scar after burns and related research].
To investigate the mechanisms of pressure intervention, and to explore the most effective regime for pressure therapy. ⋯ Pressure therapy can effectively inhibit the growth of hypertrophic scar, while its exact mechanism needs further study for verification. SPMS is convenient to apply for patients. It takes less time to fabricate and adjust when compared to the conventional garment. Its clinical effect is positive and it may expand its application to other medical conditions.

Controlled Clinical Trial[Follow-up review on the long-term effect of composite transplantation of allogeneic acellular dermal matrix and split thickness skin autograft].
To review the long-term clinical effect of composite transplantation of allogeneic acellular dermal matrix (ADM) and split thickness skin autograft (STSG). ⋯ Allogeneic ADM combined with STSG transplantation prevents scar contracture and has obvious effect in improving function and appearance. There is no problem in regard to safety for its existence in either adult or children.

[Assessing factors that influence patients' perception in returning to work using the brief version of Burns Specific Health Scale].
To assess the factors that influence burn patients' perception in returning to work after discharge. ⋯ Patients' perception in returning to work is correlated with heat sensitivity, treatment antipathy, body image, affect, length of stay, total burn surface area, and amount workers compensation. Health professionals need to provide patients with ongoing education and necessary information to help them return to work.

[Burn rehabilitation and community reintegration-new challenge to burn surgery in China].
Burn patients often have severe disfigurement, dysfunction, and psychological disorder after discharge, which may last for a long time, even for a whole life. These problems may prevent patients from returning to normal life and re-entering society. Because of demographic and socioeconomic reasons, the number of burn patients in China is huge. ⋯ Lack of funding is one of the main reasons for the lagging behind in burn rehabilitation in China. According the experiences of other countries, raising money from donation through burn foundation may be a useful way to support burn rehabilitation. Solving the above problems and improving the burn rehabilitation will be a new challenge to burn surgery in China.
