[Effects of low molecular weight heparin on the inflammatory response and vascular injury in rat after electric burn].
To observe the effects of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) on the inflammatory response and vascular injury in rat after electric burn. ⋯ LMWH intervention can ameliorate vascular injury and inflammatory response of electrically burned wounds in rats, and it decreases thrombosis rate in the vessels of injured limb.

[Analysis of drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and use of antibiotics in burn wards during 6 years].
To study the distribution characteristics of pathogens, the drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA), and the use of antibiotics against Gram negative bacilli (GNB) in burn wards, so as to provide a guide for future treatment. ⋯ In our burn wards, drug-resistant PA was prevalent, with positive correlation with the use intensity of antibiotics. The sensitive rate can be increased by a decrease in the use of amikacin, cefoperazone/sulbactam, and imipenem periodically.

[Effects of different position during high frequency oscillatory ventilation on oxygenation and hemodynamics of dogs with severe smoke inhalation injury].
To study the effects of high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) with different position on oxygenation and hemodynamics of dogs with severe smoke inhalation injury. ⋯ HFOV+ PP can improve oxygenation with no obvious CO₂ retention or adverse effect on hemodynamic parameters of dogs with severe smoke inhalation injury. Therefore, it is recommended for clinical application.

Review[Advances in the research of fluid resuscitation and its monitoring in burn patients].
Shock is the one of the most serious complications during the early stage of burn injury. Early effective fluid resuscitation, enabling the burn patient to pass through the shock stage smoothly and uneventfully, plays a necessary and essential role in the prevention of the subsequent organ complications, reduction of mortality and morbidity, and improvement in life quality. ⋯ In this review, the history and the current status of several important issues related to burn shock resuscitation, including the fluid replacement formula, quality of fluids, and monitoring of physiological parameters, were over viewed. The authors also proposed that a new therapeutic strategy to prevent microvascular permeability should be emphasized and developed in future, which may hopefully act as the most basic approach to prevent burn shock and its related complications.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Analgesic and sedative effects of inhaling a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen on burn patient during and after dressing change].
To investigate the analgesic and sedative effects of inhaling a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen on burn patient during and after dressing change. ⋯ A mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen seems to have obvious analgesic and sedative effects on burn patients during dressing change, and it can be widely used.
