[Assessing factors that influence patients' perception in returning to work using the brief version of Burns Specific Health Scale].
To assess the factors that influence burn patients' perception in returning to work after discharge. ⋯ Patients' perception in returning to work is correlated with heat sensitivity, treatment antipathy, body image, affect, length of stay, total burn surface area, and amount workers compensation. Health professionals need to provide patients with ongoing education and necessary information to help them return to work.

[Burn rehabilitation and community reintegration-new challenge to burn surgery in China].
Burn patients often have severe disfigurement, dysfunction, and psychological disorder after discharge, which may last for a long time, even for a whole life. These problems may prevent patients from returning to normal life and re-entering society. Because of demographic and socioeconomic reasons, the number of burn patients in China is huge. ⋯ Lack of funding is one of the main reasons for the lagging behind in burn rehabilitation in China. According the experiences of other countries, raising money from donation through burn foundation may be a useful way to support burn rehabilitation. Solving the above problems and improving the burn rehabilitation will be a new challenge to burn surgery in China.

[Effect of hydrogen-rich saline on blood pressure and antioxidant ability of lung tissue in scalded rats following delayed resuscitation].
To study the effect of hydrogen-rich saline on blood pressure and antioxidant ability of lung tissue in scalded rats following delayed resuscitation. ⋯ Delayed resuscitation for scalded rats with hydrogen-rich saline is helpful in the recovery of systolic pressure, and it can ameliorate lung tissue injury caused by reperfusion through enhancing the effect of antioxidase.

[Effect of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells transplantation on the inflammatory response and lung injury in rabbit with inhalation injury].
To study the effect of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) transplantation on the major inflammatory cytokines content in peripheral blood, lung water mass fraction, and lung tissue injury in rabbits with smoke inhalation injury. ⋯ MSC transplantation can decrease pro-inflammatory cytokines, increase anti-inflammatory cytokines, decrease lung water mass fraction, ameliorate systemic inflammatory response, and protect lung tissue in rabbits with smoke inhalation injury.

[Observation on the fluid resuscitation and the change in blood sodium of severely burned patients in the early stage].
To study the necessary amount of fluid consisting of electrolyte and colloid, the ratio of electrolyte and colloid used, and the change of blood sodium during early resuscitation in severely burned patients. ⋯ The actual amount of resuscitation fluid is slightly larger than that calculated from traditional formula during the early stage in severely burned patients. The amount of electrolytes and the proportion of electrolyte and colloid will influence blood sodium level of patients.
