[Effect of oral fluid resuscitation on pulmonary vascular permeability and lung water content in burn dogs in shock stage].
To investigate the effect of oral fluid resuscitation on pulmonary vascular permeability and lung water content in burn dogs during shock stage. ⋯ Although the protective effect of oral fluid resuscitation with GES on the lung of burn dog at shock stage was inferior to intravenous fluid, it still can decrease pulmonary vascular permeability, alleviate pulmonary edema, and reduce pulmonary complication compared with no resuscitation with fluids.

[Expression of neuroglobin in rats with brain injury induced by LPS].
To investigate the expression of neuroglobin (Ngb) in frontal cortex, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and serum in rats with brain injury induced by LPS and to elucidate its significance. ⋯ Up-regulation of Ngb expression in brain injury induced by LPS is correlated with duration after challenge of LPS.

[The enhancing effect of "Xuebijing injection" on lipopolysaccharide-induced apoptosis of regulatory T cells and mediation of polarization of helper T cells].
To investigate the enhancing effect of Chinese medicine-Xuebijing injection on lipopolysaccharide (LPS) -induced apoptosis of CD4+ CD25+ regulatory T cells (Tregs) and polarization of helper T cells (Th). ⋯ Activation of CD4+ CD25+ Tregs induced by LPS may mediate Th1 shift to Th2 response. "Xuebijing injection" can effectively regulate immune function of T cells, increase the LPS-induced apoptosis of CD4+ CD25+ Tregs as well as enhance the polarization of Th2 to Th1, thereby abating the suppressive state of cell-mediated immunity.

[Application of latissimus dorsi flap in different forms in repair of skin and soft tissue defects in lower extremities].
To explore repair methods of skin and soft tissue defects in lower extremities with free latissimus dorsi flaps. ⋯ Latissimus dorsi flap in various forms can be satisfactory for repair of large skin and soft tissue defects in lower extremities.

This article summarizes methods of repair of massive and deep wounds, elucidates how to improve wound healing quality and avoid scar deformity after deep burn. A part of denatured dermis (non-necrotic) in deep partial-thickness burn, "mixed degree" burn, even in full-thickness burn wounds before forming eschar can be preserved and covered with autologous skin, thereby to avoid secondary damage to the structure of subcutaneous tissue and the junction of dermis-adipose, thus to result in good functions, appearance, and survival rate. ⋯ The study of composite artificial skin will be actively developed in the future. Tissue-engineering skin and stem cells can be successfully used in patients with deep burns for scarless healing with restoration of physiological functions in a short period.
