[Protective effects of taurine on myocardial mitochondria and their enzyme activities in rate with severe burn].
To investigate the effects of taurine on myocardial mitochondria and their enzyme activities in rats with severe burn. ⋯ Taurine have protective effect on mitochondria and their enzyme activities in myocardium in rats with severe burn, and it may be attributable to improving the ability of eradicating oxygen free radicals and alleviating Ca2+ overload in the mitochondria.

[Instigating effect of shock heart on the injury to the liver, kidney and intestine at early stage of severe burn in rat].
To investigate the instigating effect of "shock heart" on injury to liver, kidney and intestine at early stage of severe burn in rat. ⋯ Myocardial damage is earlier than other organs after severe burn, which is significantly correlated with the parameters of other organs damage and their blood flow volume. Shock heart may be one initiate factor to induce the damage of liver, kidney and intestine and decrease of their blood flow volume after severe burn.

["Volume replacement" plus "dynamic support": a new regimen for effective burn shock resuscitation].
It is well known that shock is one of the main complications occurring during early stage of severe burn, and presently, ischemic/hypoxic damage of tissues and organs is still hard to be prevented by various fluid resuscitation regimens. Findings in recent years demonstrated that postburn cardiac damage occurs promptly and much earlier than any other organs. Application of measures to ameliorate cardiac damage may improve organ blood flow in liver, kidney, and intestines, and mitigate organ damage concomitant with fluid resuscitation according to Parkland formula. These facts suggest that cardiac damage occurring promptly at early stage of severe burn is one of the important factors leading to ischemia/hypoxia of tissues and organs, therefore,new resuscitation regimen including "volume replacement" plus "dynamic support" may conduct to more effective burn shock resuscitation, and reduce organ complications as a result of either insufficient or over fluid infusion.

[Protective effects of enalaprilat on the myocardial kinetics in rats at early stage of severe scald].
To investigate the therapeutic effects of Enalaprilat on the myocardial kinetics in rats at early stage of severe scald. ⋯ Myocardium can be obviously damaged at early stage after severe scald,cardiac function is impaired. Enalaprilat injection (especially at low dose) can significantly ameliorate the myocardial kinetics indices, and it seems to exert a protective effect on cardiac function.

To evaluate the efficacy and safety of recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (rhGM-CSF) hydrogel in wound healing in patients with deep partial thickness burn. ⋯ rhGM-CSF hydrogel can significantly accelerate wound healing in patients with deep partial thickness burn with certain safety.
