[Protective effects of glycyl-glutamine dipeptide supplement on the heart function in burn rats].
To investigate the protective effects of glycyl-glutamine dipeptide supplement on the function of myocardial dynamics in severely burned rats, and to explore its mechanism. ⋯ Glycyl-glutamine dipeptide, Gly and Gln supplementation after burns can improve the content of GSH and high energy phosphate compound, and suppress the decline of myocardial dynamics function. The effects of Glycyl-glutamine dipeptide is better than single Gly or Gln, indicating that the protective effect on myocardial function after severe burns by Gln and Gly is synergistic.

[The protective effect of high density lipoprotein on the lung function of rats with severe burns].
To explore the protective effect of high density lipoprotein on the lung function of rats with severe burns. ⋯ HDL exhibits a protective effect on the lung function of rats with severe burns via reducing the expression of ICAM-1 and TNF-alpha.

[The protective effect of early insulin treatment on vascular endothelial cells in severely scalded rats].
To investigate the protective effect of insulin on vascular endothelial cells of rats at early post-burn stage, and its mechanism. ⋯ Insulin exhibits protective effect on vascular endothelial cells in severely scalded rats at the early post-burn stage, and it is attributed to its promotion of cNOS level leading to NO production.

[The inhibitory effects of extrinsic carbon monoxide-releasing molecules II on inflammatory responses in liver of mice with severe burns].
To investigate the inhibitory effects of extrinsic carbon monoxide-releasing molecules II on inflammatory responses in liver of mice with severe burns and its potential mechanisms. ⋯ Extrinsic CORM-2 exhibits the ability to inhibit NF-kappaB activity, reduces the hepatic expression of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1, thereby alleviating sequestration of leukocytes after severe burns, so that hepatic inflammatory response is ameliorated, and liver function is improved.
