[Real-world study on syndrome distribution and medication characteristics of colonic malignant tumors].
In order to explore the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndromes and medications in patients with colonic malignant tumors in China, the clinical data of patients with colonic malignant tumors from the information system of 33 Grade-A tertiary hospitals in China from 2001 to 2016 were extracted and a descriptive analysis was conducted on their disease characteristics, syndrome distribution, drug characteristics and treatment status. A total of 22 691 patients with colonic malignancies nationwide were included in the analysis, with male to female ratio of 1.59∶1, median age of 62 years, susceptible age of 50-79 years. Postoperative patients with colonic malignant tumors accounted for 47.10%, and patients with liver metastases reached 36.02%. ⋯ The top three traditional Chinese medicines were compound Kushen Injection(14.62%), Shenqi Fuzheng Injection(10.18%) and Aidi Injection(6.48%). This study shows that spleen and Qi deficiency may be the dominant syndrome of colonic malignant tumor, and chemotherapy is one of the main treatment methods. Traditional Chinese medicine has shown unique advantages in alleviating the toxic and side effects of chemotherapy and preventing recurrence and metastasis, so integrated TCM and Western medicine can significantly improve the clinical efficacy.

[Evaluation and analysis of high-quality products of Liuwei Dihuang Pills].
Liuwei Dihuang Pills is a typical traditional Chinese medicine with "the same product made by many manufacturers". The quality and price of products made in various factories was different obviously. In this study, the quality differences of Liuwei Dihuang Pills were evaluated over multi-dimensions and throughout the whole production cycle involving raw materials, production process, quality control and post-marketing re-studies based on the "Chinese patent medicine evaluation standard with quality at the core" established earlier by our research group. ⋯ Intelligent manufacturing promoted by the government was beneficial to ensure product uniformity. The score rate of "quality evaluation" item was basically qualified, which indicated that the quality control level of Liuwei Dihuang Pills was acceptable as a whole, but there was still room for improvement. "Re-evaluation and Brand Construction" had the lowest scores, reflecting that enterprises did not pay enough attention to in-depth study and re-evaluation of "the same product made by many manufacturers". The evaluation results were in line with expectations, provided a reference example for the evaluation of high-quality Chinese patent medicine, a basis for the high-quality and good price of Chinese patent medicine, scientific data for improving medical insurance bidding, and thus facilitated promoting the healthy development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.

[Analysis of property and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in staging revention and treatment of coronavirus disease 2019].
Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) triggered a severe and complicated epidemic situation, and it is of great significance to discuss the rules and characteristics of the prescription of COVID-19 in traditional Chinese medicine. This study collected prevention and treatment approaches of traditional Chinese medicine for COVID-19 released from the National Health Committee of China, 7 provinces and municipal health committees, the Chinese Medicine Administration and Handbook of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment of COVID-19 between January 1 and February 18, 2020, and prescriptions prepared by 3 masters of Chinese medicine and 4 well-known Chinese medicine experts. These information were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and EpiData 3.0 software was used to establish the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescription Library for the Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19" and the "Common Database of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19". ⋯ During the recovery period, tonic deficiency drugs are used the most, accounting for 36.47%. The medical characteristics and efficacy of Chinese medicine in preventing and treating COVID-19 are closely related to the understanding of the etiology of Chinese medicine and the location and pathogenesis of the disease. Staged medication and local conditions need attention during the identification and treatment of COVID-19 clinical syndromes.
