[Exploration on mechanisms of Xiaoyao Powder in treating atherosclerosis and depressive disorder with concept of "treating different diseases with same method" based on network pharmacology].
The aim of this paper was to explore the mechanism of Xiaoyao Powder in treating atherosclerosis and depressive disorder with concept of "treating different diseases with same method" based on network pharmacology. TCMSP(Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform) and SymMap databases were used to search all the chemical components and targets related to Xiaoyao Powder. After preliminary screening, the network of "herbs-compounds-targets" was constructed. ⋯ Metascape was used for GO enrichment analysis and the results showed that there were 929 biological processes, 25 cell components and 23 molecular functions. Enrichment ana-lysis of KEGG showed that there were 108 signal pathways such as AGE-RAGE, HIF-1, FoxO, Th17 cell differentiation and IL-17 signal pathways, which were mainly related to neuroendocrine system, metabolism, immune inflammation and oxidative stress. In conclusion, the main mechanism of Xiaoyao Powder in treating atherosclerosis and depressive disorder with concept of "treating different diseases with same method" was related to neuroendocrine system, metabolism, immune inflammation and oxidative stress-related signal pathway, providing reference for further experimental verification, potential pharmacological mechanism and clinical application.

Meta Analysis[Meta-analysis of Naoxintong Capsules combined with Western medicine in treatment of chronic heart failure].
The safety and efficacy of Naoxintong Capsules combined with Western medicine in treatment of chronic heart failure(CHF) were analyzed based on Meta-analysis system. Databases, such as CNKI, VIP, WanFang, PubMed, EMbase and Cochrane Library, were retrieved from the inception to 31 August, 2019, to collect literatures about the effect of Naoxintong Capsules in treating CHF. RevMan 5.3 software provided by Cochrane collaboration network was used for statistical processing of the extracted data. ⋯ The quality of the literatures was generally low. Meta-analysis results showed that the clinical efficacy rate on patients can be significantly improved by adding Naoxintong Capsules to conventional Western medicine, so as to significantly increase chronic heart failure(RR=1.24, 95%CI[1.18, 1.31], P<0.000 01), ventricular ejection fraction(MD=3.96, 95%CI[2.64, 5.27], P<0.000 01), left ventricular short axis shortening rate(MD=4.17, 95%CI[2.25, 6.10], P<0.000 1), and stroke volume(MD=10.27, 95%CI[8.47, 12.08], P<0.000 01), and reduce type B natriuretic peptide(MD=-50.10, 95%CI[-68.42,-31.78], P<0.000 01), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(MD=-5.69, 95%CI[-7.68,-3.69], P<0.000 01), left ventricular end-systolic diameter(MD=-4.05, 95%CI[-4.89,-3.21], P<0.000 01) and left ventricular end-systolic volume(MD=-6.67, 95%CI[-8.46,-4.88], P<0.000 01), with statistically significant differences. Naoxintong Capsules combined with Western medicine can improve the clinical efficacy on patients with chronic heart failure, and cardiac function indexes and B-type natriuretic peptide levels.

[Source control of Pudilan Xiaoyan Oral Liquid--research on quality of Taraxaci Herba based on ultra high performance liquid chromatography fingerprint].
Pudilan Xiaoyan Oral Liquid has been widely used in the clinical treatment of inflammatory diseases such as upper respiratory tract infections. Taraxaci Herba, as the monarch medicine in Pudilan Xiaoyan Oral Liquid, due to its multi-source, multi-origin characteristics, and the difference in the content of active ingredients in different medicinal parts, has become a potential factor for the unstable quality among different batches of Pudilan Xiaoyan Oral Liquid. In this paper, Thermo Scientific Vanquish ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography(UPLC) system was used, and the Chinese Medicine Chromatographic Fingerprint Similarity Evaluation System(2012 Edition) issued by National Pharmacopoeia Commission was used for processing and analysis. ⋯ The quantitative analysis conditions were verified by methodology, and the average sample recovery was 97.30%-101.8%. The results showed that the content of the same ingredient in Taraxaci Herba from different origins and different medicinal parts was obviously different, and the fluctua-tion range was also different for different ingredients. The establishment of UPLC fingerprints for Taraxaci Herba from different regions combined with multi-component content determination methods provides a reference for improving the quality control of Taraxaci Herba medicinal materials, and also provides a source guarantee for the quality improvement of Pudilan Xiaoyan Oral Liquid.

[Mechanism of Alisma orientale in treating nonalcoholic fatty liver disease].
In this study, network pharmacology technology was combined with molecular docking technology and experimental verification to clarify the active ingredients, potential targets and mechanism of Alisma orientale for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD), providing a basis for its clinical application. The active ingredients of A. orientale were screened through traditional Chinese medicine systems pharmacology database(TCMSP), and the potential targets related to both active ingredients and NAFLD were predicted through protein databases by considering the oral bioavailability(OB) and drug-likeness(DL). The "active ingredient-potential target" network was constructed by using Cytoscape software, and the molecular docking was performed between active ingre-dients and potential targets. ⋯ GO enrichment analysis showed that potential targets mainly affected the biological processes of G-protein coupled receptor signaling pathway, organic hydroxyl compound transport, positive regulation of lipid biosynthesis process, positive regulation of lipid metabolic process. Western blot, immunocytochemistry and fluorescent probe confirmed that the extract of A. orientale could reduce HMGCR and PTPN1 protein expression levels effectively, and also could reduce ROS production level of HepG2 cells. This study systematically revealed the material basis and mechanism of A. orientale in regulating NAFLD through multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway characteristics, which provided a theoretical basis and scientific basis for the clinical application of A. orientale.

[Study on drug properties and syndrome-symptom-formula-herb network of traditional Chinese medicine in treatment of effort angina pectoris based on data visualization].
This article aims to explore drug properties and syndrome-symptom-formula-herb network of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in the treatment of effort angina pectoris based on data visualization, and provide useful references for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Literatures about TCM formula for effort angina pectoris from databases of CNKI, WanFang, VIP, and CBM were retrieved from the database-building to August 31, 2019. The name of syndromes, symptoms, formulas, and herbs were standardized, and the corresponding databases were established. ⋯ The high-frequency syndromes of this disease were Qi deficiency and blood stasis, Qi stagnation and blood stasis, heart blood stasis, and turbid phlegm and blood stasis, and its high-frequency symptoms were chest tightness, chest pain, palpitation, shortness of breath, fatigue, dark purple tongue, spontaneous sweating, and abundant phlegm. High-frequency core formulas of this disease included Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction, Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction, Danshen Decoction, Taohong Siwu Decoction, Shengmai Powder, Buyang Huanwu Decoction and Zhigancao Decoction, and their core herbs included Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Astragali Radix, Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, Trichosanthis Fructus, Allium Macrostemonis Bulbus, Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma, Persicae Semen, Carthami Flos, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Paeoniae Radix Rubra, Poria, Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum. Drug properties and syndrome-symptom-formula-herb networks of TCM in the treatment of effort angina pectoris can realize data visualization, objectively reflect the clinical syndrome differentiation and rule of medication, and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
