[Study on hepatoprotective mechanisms of Veratrilla baillonii based on network pharmacology].
The purpose of this study was to predict the active components, targets and signaling pathways of Veratrilla baillonii for the prevention and treatment of non-alcoholic liver diseases, preliminarily verify the active components and related targets through cell experiments, and elucidate the mechanism of V. baillonii on liver protection. The candidate active components of V. baillonii were screened by searching Chinese medicine ingredients and Chinese medicine pharmacology database and analysis platform, combined with the pharmacokinetic parameters(oral availability and drug-like principle); the target of candidate active ingredients were predicted by protein database, and the target of disease related to non-alcoholic liver disease was predicted. Cytoscape software was used to construct the network of "active component-target-disease", and the protein interaction network was constructed through the STRING database to infer the core target. ⋯ Finally, TNF-α and MAPK8 were successfully verified as important targets by hepatocytes in vitro, which suggested that V. baillonii could significantly improve liver damage. TNF-α and MAPK8 were one of the targets. Based on the above results, we systematically predicted the material basis and biological mechanism of V. baillonii through multi-component, multi-target and multi-pathway regulation of nonalcoholic liver disease, and the core targets were successfully verified by cells, providing data basis and scientific basis for the in-depth development of V. baillonii.

[Discovery of intervention effect of Chinese herbal formulas on COVID-19 pulmonary fibrosis treated by VEGFR and FGFR inhibitors].
Since February 2020, a large number of patients infected with new coronavirus has been cured and discharged with the controlling of epidemic. Pulmonary fibrosis, which may be one of the sequela caused by COVID-19, not only brings dyspnea and deterioration of lung function, but also affects patients' life because of its high mortality and poor prognosis. Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor(VEGFR) and fibroblast growth factor receptor(FGFR) can inhibit the proliferation, activation and migration of fibroblasts by regulating the signal transduction pathway involved in the process of pulmonary fibrosis. ⋯ The main symptom of COVID-19 is damp-heat stagnating in the lung, which always causes impairment of body fluid and Qi. Clinical observation shows that patients in the recovery period are mostly at the status that the remaining virus toxicity is not exhausted while the vital Qi have not recovered. The results of this study are expected to provide references for clinical medication in preventing and treating pulmonary fibrosis caused by COVID-19.

[Prescription and medication regularity of traditional Chinese medicine for treating child pneumonia based on data mining].
To analyze and summarize formulae of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in the treatment of pediatric pneumonia in CNKI based on the data mining method. CNKI was retrieved for literatures of TCM treatment of pneumonia in children in recent 20 years, which was taken the data source. After screening, a prescription database was established. ⋯ Our results objectively presented, at present, TCM focuses on phlegm and heat in treating children's pneumonia, which targets at lung and also treats spleen and stomach. The main therapies aim to clear heat and resolve phlegm, ventilate lung and relieve cough and dyspnea, release exterior and dissipate cold, and relieve cough and eliminate phlegm. The results of statistical analysis are basically consistent with the consensus of experts, which can provide theoretical basis for clinical medication and drug development.

[Treatment of COVID-19 guided by holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine--therapy aimed at both viral and host].
The global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) has further spread, and there is an increasing number of confirmed cases in many countries. On February 28, 2020 of Geneva time, the World Health Organization has raised global risk level to the very high level in view of outbreak of COVID-19. Since some patients' condition appeared to deteriorate rapidly after infection of this 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV), a variety of treatments should be considered. ⋯ To some extent, the combined application of HDT and antiviral therapy is highly consistent with the therapeutic concept of the holistic view of TCM. Therefore, under the guidance of the holistic view, syndrome differentiation of TCM uses treatments, such as clearing heat, detoxification, relieving asthma, clearing damp and phlegm, together with Lianhua Qingwen Capsules, Maxing Shigan Decoction, and Haoqin Qingdan Decoction under the guidance of these therapeutic methods. These therapeutic methods and prescriptions intervened with both virus and host at the same time in the treatment of COVID-19, which has important implications for the effective clinical treatment of COVID-19.

[Textual research on "Gui" in Chinese classical prescriptions].
Through consulting the ancient herbs and medical books, combining with modern literature, this paper makes textual research on herbal medicine, and textual research on the name, origin, position and harvest and processing changes of the medicinal herbs in ancient classical prescriptions. According to research, Cinnamon medicinal materials were first listed in the Shennong's Herbal Classic, as the name of "Jungui" and "Mugui". Among them, Jungui has undergone the evolution of "Qungui-Jungui-Tonggui-Jungui". ⋯ Throughout the ages, different plant morphologies and medicinal traits have been used to distinguish different categories. The origins of the past dynasties are mostly present in Guangdong, Guangxi province and Vietnam, and are regarded as authentic. The methods for the harvest and processing of cinnamon medicinal materials are basically the same from ancient to modern times.
