[Insulin resistance and islet beta cell function in type 2 diabetes mellitus and non alcoholic fatty liver disease.].
To investigate insulin resistance and islet beta cell function in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). ⋯ Normal glucose tolerance NAFLD patients may present with insulin resistance, mainly hepatic insulin resistance. Islet beta cell function in the NAFLD patients show damage of early phase insulin secretion. Newly diagnosed T2DM with or without NAFLD patients generally present with insulin resistance, early and later phase insulin secretion dysfunction. Insulin resistance in patients with T2DM and NAFLD is more severe.

[The changes and significance of interleukin-16 and CXC chemokine receptor 3 expression in pulmonary artery of smokers with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease].
To study the pathological characteristics of interleukin-16 (IL-16) and CXC chemokine receptor 3(CXCR3) in pulmonary artery of smokers with normal lung function and smokers with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). ⋯ (1) Both in group S and group COPD, IL-16 and CXCR3 were mainly expressed in lymphocytes which were correlated with CD(8)(+)T-lymphocytes infiltrating the muscularized arteries. There were some suggestion that IL-16 probably recruited CD(8)(+)T-lymphocytes into muscularized arteries by enhancing the expression of CXCR3. (2) The intensity of IL-16 and CXCR3 were correlated with the index of clinical and pulmonary function that suggested pulmonary arterial inflammation might be one of the key factors associated with the progression of COPD, and inhibiting the pulmonary artery inflammation played an important role in prevention and cure of COPD.

[The hemodynamic characteristic and prognosis significance of acute kidney injury caused by septic shock].
To study the incidence of acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients with septic shock, evaluate the impact of AKI stage on the prognosis of septic shock and explore the role of hemodynamics in the incidence of AKI. ⋯ Septic shock is highly associated with AKI and has poor prognosis. AKI stage of AKI net is an independent predictor of prognosis of septic shock. The change of hemodynamics has an important role on the development of septic AKI. It's useful to decrease the incidence of AKI by elevating the blood pressure and CI, but super-normal goal won't work better.

[The application of a new prognostic score system for 435 cases of primary myelodysplastic syndrome diagnosed with WHO classification].
To investigate the prognostic factors of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) in cases diagnosed with WHO classification and evaluate the validity of International Prognostic Scoring System (IPSS) and WHO Classification-Based Prognostic Scoring System (WPSS) so as to establish a new score system for Chinese MDS patients. ⋯ The survival rate and median survival time of MDS in Chinese are similar to those in Western. IPSS score can predict prognosis for all MDS patients and it is better than WPSS. However, both of them have no validity for the prognostication of RCMD subtype. A new score system which can distinguish the different prognoses for RCMD patients is suggested.
