Multicenter Study
An artificial intelligence-powered, patient-centric digital tool for self-management of chronic pain: A prospective, multicenter clinical trial.
To investigate how a behavioral health, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered, digital self-management tool affects the daily functions in adults with chronic back and neck pain. ⋯ Chronic pain self-management, using an AI-powered, digital coach anchored in behavioral health principles significantly improved subjects' pain interference, physical function, depression, anxiety, and pain catastrophizing over the 12-week study period.

Few Australasian studies have evaluated persistent pain after breast cancer surgery. ⋯ The incidence of moderate to severe persistent pain after breast cancer surgery is high with associated pain interference, physical disability, and psychological distress. Important modifiable risk factors were identified to reduce this important condition.

Observational Study
Profiling migraine patients according to clinical and psychophysical characteristics: a cluster analysis approach.
This study aims to profile migraine patients according clinical and psychophysical characteristics. ⋯ In the Ictal/perictal phase, two clusters were identified according to clinical and psychophysical characteristics, with one group showing no psychophysical impairment and one with increased pain-sensitivity and cervical musculoskeletal-dysfunctions.In the interictal phase, three clusters could be identified, with one group showing no psychophysical impairment, one increased pain-sensitivity, and one increased pain sensitivity and cervical musculoskeletal-dysfunctions.

To assess the degree of resilience in patients with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) 1, to explore the relationship between resilience and patient-related outcome measurements and to describe a pattern of clinical manifestations associated with low resilience. ⋯ Resilience seems to be an independent factor in CRPS 1 and is associated with relevant parameters of the condition. Therefore, caretakers may screen the current resilience status of CRPS 1 patients to offer a supplementary treatment approach. Whether specific resilience training modifies CRPS 1 course, requires further investigations.
