Review[Life-threatening illness and the decision to resuscitate or not].
Current Danish guidance stipulates, that the physician responsible for treatment must assess, if resuscitation is medically indicated in patients with life-threatening illness. Nevertheless, terminally ill patients without medical indication for resuscitation are still asked about preferences for resuscitation rather than informed about the decision not to resuscitate. This review describes clinical dilemmas, which may arise, if these legal rights are misinterpreted. It provides a communication guide designed to assist physicians communicating with patients about the decision to resuscitate or not.

Case Reports[Pulmonary thromboembolism as contributing cause of severe respiratory insufficiency in a patient with COVID-19 infection].
We report a case of multiple peripheral pulmonary thromboembolisms in a 69-year-old male hospitalised due to SARS-CoV-2 infection. There were no evident risk factors for pulmonary thromboembolism, the patient had a Wells' score of zero, and the diagnosis only became evident after repeated CT pulmonary angiographies.

This case report describes a physician in the early 30ies with subjective anosmia and ageusia as the major presenting symptoms of COVID-19. Apart from a week of slightly runny nose when coming from cold to warm air, the only symptom was a sudden onset of persistent anosmia and ageusia. ⋯ Hypogeusia was verified with taste screening and two validated taste tests. Olfactory and gustatory loss may be underestimated symptoms of COVID-19.
