Abnormalities at three musculoskeletal sites on whole-body positron emission tomography/computed tomography can diagnose polymyalgia rheumatica with high sensitivity and specificity.
To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of PET/CT findings in PMR and generate a diagnostic algorithm utilizing a minimum number of musculoskeletal sites. ⋯ The presence of abnormal 18F-FDG uptake adjacent to the ischial tuberosities together with findings at the peri-articular shoulder or interspinous bursa on whole-body PET/CT is highly sensitive and specific for a diagnosis of PMR.

Interobserver variability, detection rate, and lesion patterns of 68Ga-PSMA-11-PET/CT in early-stage biochemical recurrence of prostate cancer after radical prostatectomy.
68Ga-PSMA-11-PET/CT is increasingly used in early-stage biochemical recurrence of prostate cancer to detect potential lesions for an individualized radiotherapy concept. However, subtle findings especially concerning small local recurrences can still be challenging to interpret and are prone to variability between different readers. Thus, we analyzed interobserver variability, detection rate, and lesion patterns systematically in a homogeneous patient population with low-level biochemical recurrence. ⋯ In a highly homogeneous group of prostate cancer patients with early-stage biochemical recurrence after radical prostatectomy, we could show that 68Ga-PSMA-11-PET/CT has a good detection rate of 50% which is in accordance with literature, with clinically relevant findings even in patients with PSA < 0.21 ng/ml. The interobserver variability is low, particularly concerning assessment of local recurrences and lymph nodes. Therefore, PSMA-PET/CT is a robust diagnostic modality in this patient group for therapy planning.

Ventilation/perfusion SPECT/CT findings in different lung lesions associated with COVID-19: a case series.
The aim of this series of cases is to show the aspects of ventilation/perfusion single-photon emission computed tomography combined with computed tomography (V/Q SPECT/CT) in patients hospitalized for COVID-19 pneumonia, with the worsening of respiratory symptoms raising the suspicion of a pulmonary embolism. Patients did not benefit from CT angiography for various reasons: a contraindication, unavailability of the CT angiography, or a low clinical probability for pulmonary embolism. ⋯ V/Q SPECT/CT can play a role in the management of patients hospitalized for COVID-19 for the diagnosis of embolic complications with meticulous hygienic precautions. The different characteristics of the ventilatory and perfusion anomalies related to COVID-19 pneumonia will be confirmed with the next cases. In addition, in this pandemic context and facing a significant infectious risk, the utility of ventilation will also have to be specified.
