[The coronary patient six months after cardiac rehabilitation: rehabilitation evaluation research (RER study)].
The aims of the study are to elaborate and test, in a coronary population admitted in a cardiac rehabilitation (CR) department, an evaluative method 6 months after a cardiac rehabilitation programme, with emphasis on modified cardiac risk factors. ⋯ A six monthly evaluation of CR programme can be used in a cardiac rehabilitation department routinely activity.

Case ReportsTorsade de pointes induced by citalopram and amiodarone.
Long QT syndrome (LQTS) is a disorder of myocardial repolarization characterized by a prolonged QT interval on the electrocardiogram (ECG). This disorder is associated with an increased risk of torsade de pointes (TdP). We report a case of TdP induced by citalopram, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), taken in conjunction with amiodarone.

Case Reports[Pulmonary embolism mimicking acute anterior myocardial infarction: diagnostic trap].
Pulmonary embolism remains the major malingerer of acute chest disease. The clinical and electrocardiographic manifestations may deviate to a diagnosis of myocardial infarction. We report a case of bilateral pulmonary embolism in a patient of 50 years. ⋯ The diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction was selected and a fibrinolysis achieved. Getting out under beta-blocker therapy, antiplatelet, statin and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors after 10 days hospitalization, the patient was readmitted one month later for a massive pulmonary embolism. Coronary angiography performed after the second hospitalization was normal.

Case Reports[Cannabis and myocardial infarction without angiographic stenosis in young patient: guilty or not guilty? A case report].
Cannabis is the most consumed drug in France, particularly in young adults. Few reports have suggested a causal role of cannabis in the development of cardiovascular events. ⋯ Coronary arteries were angiographicaly normal and etiological tests were negative. We suggest the possible relationship between marijuana use with coronary heart disease.

Case Reports[Intramural hematoma of the thoracic aorta: Medical treatment or surgery?].
Intramural hematoma (IMH) of the aorta is an uncommon entity. This disease shares many characteristics with acute aortic dissection. Treatment of IMH remains controversial. ⋯ Transoesophageal echocardiography showed IMH involving the descending aorta which spread afterwards to the ascending aorta. Patient was treated medically and echocardiographic follow-up showed that aortic hematoma remains stable. Two years later, patient is alive and the last TEE reveals disappearance of hematoma in ascending aorta and decrease of it in descending aorta.
