The use of low-dose acetylsalicylic acid (LD-ASA) in primary prevention is a matter of controversy, but its magnitude is unknown in Spain. The aim of the study was to estimate the proportion of patients who are prescribed LD-ASA for primary prevention and to identify their characteristics. ⋯ The prescription of LD-ASA for primary prevention in Spain over the study period was low in the general population, but high in older diabetic patients with additional risk factors. After years of controversy, it is time to realign the use of this drug in primary prevention according to recent guidelines.

To describe the clinical manifestations, evolution and treatment of patients with rheumatoid vasculitis. ⋯ The clinical manifestations of rheumatoid vasculitis were similar to previous studies. The frequency of rheumatoid vasculitis seems to decrease. However, the clinical picture and severity remains invariable.

The objective was to estimate the effectiveness of inactivated trivalent vaccine (VE) in preventing hospital flu care (HFC) in Guadalajara, Castile-La Mancha (CLM), Spain, 2018-19 season. ⋯ The season was delayed by sustained VRS circulation. The VE was lower than the national one. It is be essential to promote future campaigns to improve vaccination coverage.
