Prognostic value of age, creatinine, and left ventricular ejection fraction risk score in patients evaluated with fractional flow reserve: a cross-sectional study.
In this study, we investigated the relationship between age, creatinine, and left ventricular ejection fraction risk score and the severity of coronary lesions detected by applying fractional flow reserve in the patient group presenting with chronic coronary syndrome. Also, we presented long-term follow-up results in patients whose age, creatinine, and left ventricular ejection fraction score was evaluated by the fractional flow reserve procedure. ⋯ In light of the data we obtained from our study, we found a correlation between the severity of the lesion detected in fractional flow reserve and the age, creatinine, and left ventricular ejection fraction scores. In addition, we found that patients with high age, creatinine, and left ventricular ejection fraction scores had higher mortality and major adverse cardiac events rates during follow-up.

Sexual function according to infiltration of endometriosis of the rectovaginal septum: a cross-sectional study.
The aim of this study was to associate the degree of infiltration of rectovaginal septum endometriosis with dyspareunia and sexual function. ⋯ Women with endometriosis have impaired sexual function, regardless of the degree of endometriosis infiltration.

Impact of catheter ablation procedure on optical coherence tomography angiography findings in patients with ventricular arrhythmia.
Catheter ablation procedure may cause retinal complications associated with the risk of thromboembolism. We aimed to evaluate retina and optic disc microvascularity with optical coherence tomography angiography before and after the catheter ablation process in patients with ventricular arrhythmia. ⋯ Although foveal retinal thickness and nasal retinal nerve fiber layer thickness are affected in patients undergoing catheter ablation for ventricular arrhythmia, the stable retinal and optic disc vessel densities can be explained by the administration of effective anticoagulants during the procedure.

Evaluation of functional parameters of the foot and ankle in elderly with sarcopenia.
With population aging, the prevalence of sarcopenia has increased. It is a pathology often neglected, with the potential to cause great damage if not diagnosed and treated. The objective of this study was to identify sarcopenic elderly people through the SARC-F score and palm grip test and to evaluate foot and ankle functionality parameters: gait speed, plantar sensitivity, and baropodometry. ⋯ The SARC-F score and the handgrip strength test are easy to apply in the screening of sarcopenia, and the functional parameters of the foot and ankle were shown to be altered in the studied group.

Clinical and serological findings in pregnant women and newborns: patterns of coronavirus disease 2019 placental histopathology.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the correlation between clinical and serological findings of pregnant women and newborns with patterns of histopathologic changes of the placenta diagnosed with coronavirus disease 2019. ⋯ Maternal SARS-CoV-2 infection was associated with adverse perinatal outcomes. Pregnant women with positive IgG at delivery had a higher incidence of placental histopathologic changes. Placentas with positive reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction for SARS-CoV-2 had a higher incidence of histopathologic changes such as maternal vascular hypoperfusion.
