Role of cystatin C levels as an inflammatory marker in predicting endometriosis.
Endometriosis is a common chronic inflammatory disease associated with infertility and pelvic pain. Diagnosis is based on the appearance of endometriotic lesions at the time of surgery. Our study aimed to determine whether cystatin C can be used as a predictor of endometriosis and to investigate its potential role in doing so. ⋯ Our study shows that the serum cystatin C levels can be used as a guide for diagnosis in patients with advanced endometriosis. However, more research is needed to prove its reliability and accuracy in order to put it into practice.

Treatment results of carotid artery stenting in a developing country.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the details of minor complications of carotid artery stenting in a developing country. ⋯ The results of the carotid artery stenting procedures performed in a developing country were acceptable.

Do YouTube videos on microscopic varicocelectomy provide reliable information?
This study aimed to assess the quality of YouTube videos about microscopic varicocelectomy. ⋯ YouTube videos regarding microscopic varicocelectomy were of notably low quality. If the video content created by specialist physicians and academic centers is more meticulously organized, more accurate data can be transmitted. Consequently, viewing video content may not be advised based on the available data.

Evaluation of the relationship between blood cell markers and inflammation, disease activity, and general health status in ankylosing spondylitis.
The aim of this study was to assess the relation of systemic immune inflammation index, systemic inflammation response index, and systemic inflammation aggregate index with disease activity, functional status, and general health status in ankylosing spondylitis. ⋯ Systemic immune inflammation index, systemic inflammation response index, and systemic inflammation aggregate index can be used to indicate systemic inflammatory burden in ankylosing spondylitis patients. However, these indexes are not effective in indicating patients' disease activity, general health status, and functional status.
