Identification of sexual myths of university students in health-related departments and affecting factors.
The research aimed to determine the attitudes of students studying in health-related departments toward sexual myths and the factors affecting them. ⋯ Despite students studying in health-related departments and receiving relevant courses, their level of sexual myths remains at a moderate level, indicating the presence of knowledge gaps and misconceptions in the subject matter. Therefore, it is crucial to implement comprehensive education and counseling services on reproductive and sexual health for all university students.

A practical predictive model to predict 30-day mortality in neonatal sepsis.
Neonatal sepsis is a serious disease that needs timely and immediate medical attention. So far, there is no specific prognostic biomarkers or model for dependable predict outcomes in neonatal sepsis. The aim of this study was to establish a predictive model based on readily available laboratory data to assess 30-day mortality in neonatal sepsis. ⋯ We established a predictive model that can objectively and accurately predict individualized risk of 30-day mortality. The predictive model should help clinicians to improve individual treatment, make clinical decisions, and guide follow-up management strategies.

Relationship between skeletal muscle mass loss and metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease among Chinese patients with metabolic dysregulation.
The aim of this study was to explore the correlation between skeletal muscle content and the presence and severity of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease in patients with metabolic dysregulation in China. ⋯ Skeletal muscle mass loss among patients with metabolic dysregulation was positively associated with metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease severity in both sexes. The skeletal muscle index cutoff value could be used to predict metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease.

Physician's perceptions regarding the pharmaceutical industry: a Brazilian national study.
The objective of this study was to investigate the newly graduated physicians' attitudes and perceptions regarding the medical relationship with the pharmaceutical industry and identify the sociodemographic patterns related to such thinking. ⋯ The study highlights the nuanced attitudes of new doctors toward industry relationships, indicating the need for clearer ethical guidelines and education in medical schools to align practice with evolving societal values.

Quality of sleep in individuals with systemic sclerosis and its correlation with functional disability and quality of life: a cross-sectional study.
This study aimed to evaluate the quality of sleep in individuals with systemic sclerosis and its correlation with the quality of life and disability. ⋯ This study showed that poor sleep quality is a very common finding among systemic sclerosis patients, and it negatively affects both the quality of life and the degree of disability. Sleep quality is an unmet need in patients with systemic sclerosis Poor sleep quality is very common in patients with systemic sclerosis Poor sleep quality correlated with worse quality of life and greater disability.
