Family history of cardiovascular disease and non-HDL cholesterol in prepubescent non-obese children.
To describe the values of non-HDL cholesterol (NHDL-c) and the frequency of a family history of early cardiovascular disease (family HCVD) in healthy prepubescent children. Analyze the association between NHDL-c and family HCVD, and possible associations with other risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD). ⋯ NHDL-c values were associated with blood pressure and insulin resistance. Family HCVD was not associated with other classic risk factors for CVD, even though the frequency found was five times higher than that of high NHDL-c.

Bladder exstrophy is a rare congenital anomaly resulting from failure of fusion of the middle of the pelvis line tissues during embryogenesis. It is characterized by malformation of the lower abdominal wall involving the genitourinary tract and the musculoskeletal system. Its incidence is estimated at 1:30,000 to 1:50,000 live births, and it is 2 or 3 times more frequent in males. The child's age is important and the best results are obtained when treatment is performed shortly after birth.

Therefore, companies need to invest more in the health of workers by providing protective equipment and thus preventing occupational skin cancer.

As for nutritional control, we observed greater difficulty in following the guidelines demonstrating the need for long-term monitoring, as well as further clarification to the patients about the importance of nutrition in diabetes management.

Thus, we feel in tune with the treatment of critical care patients.
