Case ReportsRole of rehabilitation in a COVID-19 survivor with intensive care unit-acquired weakness: A case report.
Intensive care unit-acquired weakness (ICU-AW) is a catastrophic and debilitating clinical condition that causes generalized weakness and predisposes to adverse short- and long-term outcomes. Novel coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) has been a global pandemic since November 2019. ⋯ In this article, we describe a COVID-19 survivor who developed acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and ICU-AW. Early pulmonary rehabilitation in the ICU and long-term rehabilitation maintenance after the ICU and hospital discharge resulted in a positive outcome.

Extracorporeal shock wave therapy as a conservative treatment option for carpal tunnel syndrome: A double-blind, prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled study.
This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) in carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) compared to the wrist splint treatment. ⋯ Our study results show that ESWT is a valuable and reliable treatment modality for mild-to-moderate CTS.

The effects of kinesiotaping on wrist extensor strength using an isokinetic device in patients with chronic lateral epicondylitis: A randomized-controlled trial.
This study aims to evaluate short-term effects of kinesiotaping (KT) on pain, arm function, grip strength, and wrist extensor strength in patients with chronic lateral epicondylitis (LE). ⋯ Both KT and sham taping provided similar improvement in pain relief through arm functions in patients with chronic LE.

The effect of physical therapy and rehabilitation modalities on sleep quality in patients with primary knee osteoarthritis: A single-blind, prospective, randomized-controlled study.
In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effect of physical therapy modalities on pain, sleep, mental status, and quality of life of patients with osteoarthritis (OA). ⋯ Our study results show positive effects of exercise and physical therapy modalities on pain, disease activity, sleep quality, depression, and quality of life in knee OA patients.

Translation, reliability, and validity of the Turkish version of the Neck Bournemouth Questionnaire.
The aim of this study was to translate the Neck Bournemouth Questionnaire into Turkish and to test the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Neck Bournemouth Questionnaire (BQc-t). ⋯ Our study results show that the BQc-t is reliable, valid, and sensitive to clinical changes.
