To gain a deeper knowledge of the phenomenon of cardiopulmonary resuscitation by capturing the meanings that professionals attach to the behaviour of reanimation and its relationship with Social Cognitive Theory. ⋯ Professionals' self-efficacy in a cardiopulmonary resuscitation does not always depend on the technical skills acquired. Personal and situational factors influence the professional being able to vary their behaviour cognitively and emotionally. This knowledge enables cardiopulmonary resuscitation competencies in a clinical situation to be improved and individualized training programmes to be designed in teaching practice.

Snacks of elementary school students have an important role in fulfill the adequacy of energy and nutrients for the growth and development of children. The objective of this research was to investigate the relationship between level of knowledge and attitude about healthy snacks towards behavior in choosing healthy snacks at the 4th grade and 5th grade students in a public elementary school in Pekanbaru. ⋯ Elementary school teachers always need to control of all types of snacks that are sold in the school.

Assessment of the needs for palliative care in advanced chronic patients on discharge.
To describe the advanced chronic patients admitted to an internal medicine department and to identify whether they meet the criteria for the need for palliative care at the time of hospital discharge according to the NECPAL-CCOMS.ICO® instrument. ⋯ A palliative approach in the care of chronicity would have a very positive impact on the quality of life of the patient and family, would positively influence health systems and would result in cost savings. Implementing the NECPAL CCOMS-ICO® instrument in the health services that serve high proportions of chronically ill patients, accompanied by training measures for health personnel and adaptation of resources, can introduce a qualitative and quantitative change that is very relevant in our the health system.

Violence against health workers is a highly prevalent phenomenon with serious psychological and labour consequences among professionals. This paper aims, first, to find out the main studies undertaken to date to describe and analyse the phenomenon, as well as to present different initiatives and protocols of action carried out. ⋯ Given that rigorous reviews supporting such procedures are lacking in scientific journals, different action guidelines for professionals to prevent and to deal with hostile behaviour based on available evidence are developed and proposed. Finally, an easily consultable and applicable action procedure for health workers attacked in the workplace is presented.

Pacifier and swaddling effective in impeding premature infant's pain score and heart rate.
To assess the effectiveness of pacifier and swaddling on premature infant's pain score, hearthrate, and oxygen saturation during an invasive procedure. ⋯ Providing pacifier and swaddling can impede the increase of premature infants' pain score and hearth rate during an invasive procedures, therefore it can be implemented as an alternative to pain management in premature infants.
