Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Utilization Rate, Hospital Volume, and Perioperative Outcomes After Total Knee Arthroplasty.
Previous studies of racial disparities in total joint replacement, particularly total knee arthroplasty, in the U.S. have predominantly focused on disparities between blacks and whites and were limited to Medicare patients or veterans, populations that are not representative of the entire U.S. ⋯ Prognostic Level III. The Long-Term Outcome After Varus Derotational Osteotomy for Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease: A Mean Follow-up of 42 Years.
Varus derotational osteotomy (VDRO) is one of the most common surgical treatments for Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease, yet its long-term results have not been fully assessed. Risk Factors for Deep Infection Following Plate Fixation of Proximal Tibial Fractures.
The risk factors are unclear for deep surgical site infection after plate fixation of proximal tibial fractures.
