Poor sleep and fatigue are among the most common complaints of patients with migraine. These problems can lead to different negative consequences such as headaches. This study aimed to examine the impacts of self-administered acupressure on sleep quality and fatigue among patients with migraine. ⋯ As a noninvasive non-pharmacological therapy, acupressure can significantly reduce fatigue among patients with migraine.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyEffects of auricular acupressure on obesity in adolescents.
and purpose: Adolescent obesity has been increasing globally, and intervention is important. This study examined the effects of auricular acupressure on reducing obesity in adolescents. ⋯ Auricular acupressure using vaccaria seeds was effective in decreasing total cholesterol levels and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels in adolescents with obesity.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyEffect of Gua Sha therapy on patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy: A randomized controlled trial.
To examine the effect of Gua Sha therapy in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DNP). ⋯ Gua Sha therapy appears to be effective at reducing the severity of DPN in a clinically relevant dimension, and at improving other health outcomes in patients with DPN. While this study found that Gua Sha therapy is a promising treatment in reducing the symptoms of patients with DPN, further, larger sample studies are required to confirm the effects of Gua Sha therapy in patients with DPN.

Randomized Controlled TrialThe effect of diluted lavender oil inhalation on pain development during vascular access among patients undergoing haemodialysis.
The present study was conducted as a randomised controlled design in order to evaluate the effect of lavender oil inhalation on pain development during vascular access among patients undergoing haemodialysis. ⋯ It was observed that applying lavender oil inhalation to patients undergoing haemodialysis did decrease pain level experienced by patients during vascular access and caused no negative effects.

To assess the effects of a yoga nidra on life stress and self-esteem in university students. ⋯ These findings indicate that yoga nidra could alleviate the life stress intensity level and increase the self-esteem in university students.
