The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between periodontal disease and oral cancer risk by meta-analysis. ⋯ Our present meta-analysis indicated that periodontal disease can increase the oral cancer risk by nearly 2-fold.

To evaluate the effect of dezocine combined with propofol on painless gastroscopy in patients with suspect gastric carcinoma. ⋯ Dezocine combined with propofol on painless gastroscopy can reduce the respiratory depression and body movement without interference of hemodynamics.

Helicobacter pylori infection and colorectal cancer risk are not clear. We perform this meta-analysis to further evaluate the association between H. pylori infection and colorectal cancer susceptibility. ⋯ Colorectal carcinoma is associated with H. pylori infection. However, for significant heterogeneity across the studies, this results should be further confirmed by large sample size cohort study.

The aim of this study was to evaluate oxycodone versus dezocine for postoperative analgesia in patients with cervical cancer treated with radical surgery. ⋯ Oxycodone postoperative analgesia is superior to dezocine for patients with cervical cancer treated with radical surgery.

Obtain baseline data of cell-phone usage in the medical (MO), surgical (SO) and radiation (RO) oncology community practicing in India. ⋯ The results of the first such questionnaire based study have been presented. Most oncologists consider cell-phones a useful tool in patient care. More RO are aware of potential cell-phone hazards compared to non-RO's.
