Predictive factors for failure of pelvic arterial embolization for postpartum hemorrhage.
To assess the efficacy of pelvic embolization in women with postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) and to determine factors associated with embolization failure. ⋯ Predictive factors significantly associated with failed pelvic arterial embolization were the presence of placenta accreta, biologic factors, and transfusional factors. Delay due to inter-hospital transfer did not affect the outcome of embolization.

Intimate partner violence and its association with women's reproductive health in Pakistan.
To determine the prevalence of intimate partner violence in Pakistan and its association with reproductive health outcomes. ⋯ The results highlight the magnitude of violence and its association with reproductive health of women. Urgent action is needed to mitigate the violence and its consequential damage to health.

To determine risk factors for eclampsia among Japanese women with singleton pregnancies. ⋯ Hypertension alone was not a reliable predictor of eclampsia. More intensified monitoring of nulliparous women and teenaged girls with hypertension is needed in order to prevent eclampsia.

Randomized Controlled TrialEffects of domperidone on augmentation of lactation following cesarean delivery at full term.
To evaluate the effects of domperidone on breast milk production in women who underwent cesarean at full term. ⋯ Postpartum treatment with domperidone can augment breast milk production after full-term cesarean, with minimal adverse effects.
