Case Reports[Retinal detachment in preeclampsia and HELLP Syndrome].
We report the case of a 33-year-old pregnant female with severe preeclampsia who developed serous retinal detachments and HELLP syndrome. ⋯ Following delivery by Caesarian section, there was spontaneous resolution of the serous retinal detachments, with residual pigmentary changes of the retinal pigment epithelium. The patient recovered normal vision (Arch Soc Esp Oftalmol 2003; 78: 335-338).
