Review Meta Analysis
Parathyroid cysts: A review of 359 patients reported in the international literature.
Parathyroid cysts are lesions that represent 1-5% of neck masses. They are subdivided into two categories: functioning and non-functioning.The aim of the present review is to give a detailed account of all reported cases of parathyroid cysts in the literature and to analyze statistically the available data. ⋯ Parathyroid cysts should be taken into consideration in case of parathyroid dysfunction or asymptomatic neck mass. The surgeon's careful manipulations on the cyst are crucial for a definitive treatment.

Review Case Reports
Right atrial epithelioid angiosarcoma with multiple pulmonary metastasis confirmed by multimodality imaging-guided pulmonary biopsy: A case report and literature review.
Primary cardiac tumors are very rare, and angiosarcoma accounts for about 33% of all primary malignant cardiac tumors. Primary cardiac epithelioid angiosarcoma is a highly aggressive and difficult to diagnose tumor, with early systemic metastasis and poor prognosis. ⋯ Primary angiosarcoma of heart is a very rare and aggressive disease, and its diagnosis and treatment are difficult. Most patients may have systemic metastasis at diagnosis, and have a very short survival without surgical resection. Hence, early diagnosis and surgical resection is extremely important to treat this disease.

Perianal Paget disease treated with wide excision and thigh skin flap reconstruction: a case report and review of literature.
Extramammary Peget disease (EMPD) is a rare tumor, which typically occurs in the perianal regions. Perianal Paget disease (PPD) was first reported in 1893, and which has only 180 cases that have been reported in literature. The rarity of the disease means that no large studies have been made, and so the optimal treatment for this disease still remains controversial. ⋯ PPD is a rare disorder; the current knowledge on diagnose and treatment is based on small case series. Thus, it is complicated to elaborate a consensus on diagnostic and treatment guidelines. Wide local excision remains the treatment of choice with a variety of adjuvant therapies. Our method has an advantage which is the posterior thigh flap could be designed in accordance with the defect of the perianal. It is mandatory that the patient must accept a long-term follow-up to detect local recurrence and to distant carcinoma.

Treatment of pancreatic head cancer with obstructive jaundice by endoscopy ultrasonography-guided gastrojejunostomy: A case report and literature review.
Ultrasonography-guided gastrojejunostomy (EUS-GJ) might be a safe, innovative and minimally invasive interventional treatment for patients with gastric outlet obstruction (GOO) as an alternative to the surgical approach. To date, few cases have been reported in the literature. ⋯ EUS-GJ may be reliable and effective for patients with GOO.

Multicenter Study Observational Study
Effectiveness and safety of simeprevir-based regimens for hepatitis C in Italy: The STIly observational study.
The combination of the direct-acting antivirals, simeprevir (SMV) and sofosbuvir (SOF), was the first highly efficacious interferon-free combination for treating patients with hepatitis C virus (HCV), and was widely used in Italy as a result. The aim of this study was to evaluate effectiveness and safety of SMV in Italian patients with HCV genotype (GT) 1 and 4 overall, by treatment regimen [SMV/SOF and SMV/SOF+ribavirin (RBV)], cirrhosis status, and GT (GT1a, GT1b, and GT4). An observational multicenter cohort study was conducted in 46 centers across Italy. ⋯ Adverse events leading to treatment discontinuations were not observed. A high proportion of patients treated with SMV/SOF-based regimens achieved SVR12 in this study. A high SVR12 rate was also achieved in patients with cirrhosis, treatment experience, and HUV coinfected patients.
