Diabetic mellitus erectile dysfunction (DMED) refers to erectile dysfunction (ED) secondary to diabetes. As people's lifestyle changes and the population ages, the incidence of DMED continues to increase. Many clinical trials have proven that Chinese medicine has a significant effect in the treatment of DMED. In this systematic review, we aim to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) for DMED. ⋯ This systematic review will evaluate the efficacy and safety of TCM for treating Diabetic mellitus erectile dysfunction. Because all of the data used in this systematic review and meta-analysis has been published, this review does not require ethical approval. Furthermore, all data will be analyzed anonymously during the review process trial.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwutang granule in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by swelling, pain, and synovial damage. Effective methods lack in the treatment of RA. A traditional prescription in use for thousands of years in China, Huangqi Guizhi Wuwutang granule (HGWG) is still chosen to relieve pain and prevent joint malformation in RA patients. However, no evidence-based medical research has been organized to assess the effectiveness and safety of HGWG for RA. ⋯ The findings of this research will elucidate the efficacy and safety of HGWG and provide an alternative treatment for RA. In addition, our data will benefit the clinical decision-making on active RA and possibly be incorporated into future guidelines.

Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) is defined as pneumonia develops in intensive care unit (ICU) patients who have been mechanically ventilated for at least 48 hours. Implementing effective oral car could reduce the incidence of VAP. However, previous studies on scrubs in oral care have failed to suggest which the best choice. Therefore, this protocol proposes to perform a network meta-analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of different oral care scrubs in preventing VAP. ⋯ CRD42018117019.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a prevalent and debilitating condition for patients who experience this disorder. Clinical researches indicate that vitamin D (VD) can help relief the symptoms of IBS. However, no systematic review has addressed this issue yet. Thus, this systematic review aims to investigate the effectiveness and safety of VD for patients with IBS. ⋯ This systematic review will not require ethical approval, because all data will be extracted from the published literature. The findings of this study will be disseminated at peer-reviewed journals.PROSPERO registration number: PROSPERO CRD42019122641.

Ancient medical practitioners used to encourage dietary supplements and herbal medicine for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Ginger (Zingiber officinale), is a nontoxic spice with negligible side effects, and is considered safe by the food and drug administration. In this analysis, we aimed to systematically compare fasting blood sugar (FBS) and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) at baseline versus at follow-up in T2DM patients who consumed and who did not consume ginger. ⋯ This analysis involving patients with T2DM showed no significant difference in FBS with ginger consumption. However, dietary ginger significantly improved HbA1c from baseline to follow-up showing that this natural medicine might have an impact on glucose control over a longer period of time in patients with T2DM.
