Meta Analysis
Electroacupuncture for the treatment of functional dyspepsia: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Functional dyspepsia (FD) is a common functional gastrointestinal disease. Acupuncture, including electroacupuncture (EA) is widely used as a complementary and alternative treatment for patients with FD. This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of EA for the treatment of FD. ⋯ This meta-analysis suggests that EA is better than the placebo (sham-EA) in treating FD, and the therapeutic effect of EA on FD is equivalent to that of PM on FD. Compared with PM, EA for FD is safer and has fewer adverse reactions. Despite limitations due to the quality and number of the included studies, EA might be used as an effective and safe treatment for FD.

Meta Analysis
Rehabilitation therapy for patients with glioma: A PRISMA-compliant systematic review and meta-analysis.
Glioma is the most common type of brain tumor because of the destructiveness of the disease itself and the side effects of treatment, patients often leave symptoms of neurological defects. At present, rehabilitation treatment is not popular in glioma patients. There is a lack of definite evidence to prove the benefits of rehabilitation therapy for glioma patients. The purpose of this meta-analysis is to determine whether rehabilitation therapy can significantly improve the prognosis of neurological function and improve the quality of life of patients with glioma. ⋯ PROSPERO CRD42020188740.

During the last decade, a number of studies have evaluated the potential association between some genetic polymorphisms and childhood asthma risk, however, the results of published studies appear conflicts. The aim of the present study was to investigate association between genetic polymorphisms and pediatric asthma. ⋯ This meta-analysis found that IL-13 +2044G/A, IL-4 -590C/T, ADAM33 F+1, ADAM33 T2, ADAM33 T1, ADAM33 ST+4,ORMDL3 rs7216389, VDR FokI, and VDR TaqI polymorphisms might be risk factors for childhood asthma. Further study with large population and more ethnicities is needed to estimate these associations.

Review Case Reports
Primitive neuroectodermal tumor of urinary bladder: A case report and literature review.
Primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET) of the urinary bladder is a highly aggressive tumor with high local recurrence and distant metastasis rates in cases of incomplete excision. We report a case of a young female patient, in whom early laparoscopic radical cystectomy combined with standard lymph node dissection and a modified vincristine, doxorubicin hydrochloride, and cyclophosphamide (VAC) chemotherapy regimen was controversial. Because PNET of the urinary bladder is a rare malignancy, the standard treatment regimen has not yet been established. It is not clear whether surgery combined with postoperative chemotherapy for PNET patients may be superior to surgery alone on long term survival. ⋯ Radical surgery and standard lymphadenectomy combined with adjuvant chemotherapy may be essential to improve the prognosis of PNET of the urinary bladder.
