Chinese medicine has a unique theory and the Chinese herbal medicine treatment is based on the integral concepts and syndrome differentiation of the Traditional Chinese Medicine system. Although antibiotics remain the mainstay of SIBO treatment, various alternative or adjunctive therapies are available, including prokinetic agents, dietary interventions, probiotics, and herbal combinations. There is accumulating evidence demonstrating the antimicrobial properties of a growing number of herbs including garlic, black cumin, cloves, cinnamon, thyme, all-spices, bay leaves, mustard, and rosemary. This has prompted an interest in herbal therapy for the treatment of SIBO. Currently, there is no systematic review focusing on efficacy of CHM in the treatment of SIBO with PCOS, so our meta-analysis aims to comprehensively explore it. Meanwhile we will provide high-quality evidence to help patients, clinicians as well as health policymakers select better treatment strategy of PCOS. ⋯ INPLASY202080004.

Parkinson's disease (PD) has a high incidence in the elderly, and the late stage seriously affects the daily life of the patients. Most of the initial symptoms of PD are not obvious or atypical, which brings difficulties to the early diagnosis. Replacement therapy and neuroprotection after early diagnosis can significantly improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients. More and more evidence shows that 11C-2β-carbomethoxy-3β-(4-fluorophenyl) tropane positron emission tomography ( 11C-CFT PET) combined with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (18F-FDG PET) can effectively improve the accuracy of early diagnosis. However, there is no consistent conclusion at present. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of 11C-CFT PET combined with 18F-FDG PET in the diagnosis of early PD. ⋯ International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO): CRD42020203442.

Total knee arthroplasty is a common surgery for end-stage of knee osteoarthritis. Proprioceptive training has become an important part in athletes training programmes in different sports. However, the effects of proprioceptive training on the recovery of total knee arthroplasty were unknown. This meta-analysis, with its comprehensive and rigorous methodology, will provide better insight into this problem. ⋯ Our study aims to systematically present the clinical effects of proprioceptive training after total knee arthroplasty patients, which will be provide clinical guidance for total knee arthroplasty patients.

Hepatoma-derived growth factor (HDGF) promotes cancer progression and metastasis by interacting with vascular endothelial growth factor, thereby inducing epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and angiogenesis. Recent studies have correlated increased HDGF levels with poor prognosis in various malignancies, including lung cancer. This meta-analysis systematically assessed the prognostic significance of HDGF expression in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). ⋯ HDGF expression is related to clinical outcome and may be a prognostic marker in patients with NSCLC.

Guizhi Fuling wan for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease protocol: A protocol for systematic review and meta analysis.
Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease (CPID) is one of common diseases of department of gynaecology, point to female inside genital and circumferential organization to suffer from infection of all sorts of pathogenic bacteria and cause chronic inflammation sex disease, also cause one of main factors of infertile of female of childbearing age period. Due to its insidious onset, it is not easy to find out in the early stage. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain satisfactory curative effect by taking routine treatment with antibiotics. In recent years, TCM has made great strides in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammation, a number of clinical studies have shown that Guizhi Fuling wan combined with antibiotics can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and enhance the therapeutic effect. Therefore, we intend to conduct a system review and meta-analysis to further clarify the effectiveness and safety of GZFLW for CPID. ⋯ DOI 10.17605 / OSF.IO / R9NVT.
