Randomized Controlled Trial
Metronomic capecitabine as maintenance treatment after first line induction with XELOX for metastatic colorectal cancer patients.
Maintenance treatment after first-line chemotherapy for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) is a priority strategy. However, which medicine is chosen is controversial. This study aimed to determine the efficacy and safety of maintenance treatment with metronomic capecitabine vs observation. ⋯ Similar safety profiles were observed in both arms. The most frequent adverse events in metronomic capecitabine group included neutropenia, diarrhea, hand-foot skin reaction, and mucositis. Maintenance therapy with metronomic capecitabine can be considered an alternative option following first-line chemotherapy of XELOX in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer with controlled toxicities.

The objective of this meta-analysis was to summarize and identify the available evidence from studies to estimate the clinical value of acupoint sticking combined with massage (ASM) in the treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD), and provide clinicians with evidence on which to base their clinical decision making. ⋯ INPLASY2020110072 (DOI number: 10.37766/inplasy2020.11.0072).

Comparative Study
Denosumab versus zoledronic acid for patients with beta-thalassemia major-induced osteoporosis.
The main aim of this study is to compare the 2 medications denosumab and zoledronic acid for patients with beta-thalassemia major induced osteoporosis. Patients with B-thalassemia major induced osteoporosis will undergo baseline assessment of the bone densitometry by bone density(DEXA) scan as a standard of care by the radiology department, then a blood test for bone-specific alkaline phosphatase and type-1 collagen telopeptide will be measured by the chemistry laboratory. ⋯ The potential risks include drug-related side effects. The outcome will be measured biochemically by measuring bone-specific alkaline phosphatase and type 1 collagen carboxy telopeptide and radiologically by DEXA scan at baseline and 1 year using Z score.

Allergic rhinitis, abbreviated AR, modern medicine considers AR to be a chronic inflammatory reactive disease of the nasal mucosa mediated by exposure to allergens such as pollen and mites immunoglobulin E. AR not only affects patients' daily life, sleep, work, and study, but also brings huge economic burden to patients and society. At present, desensitization therapy, antiallergic drugs, antihistamines, hormones, and other drugs are used to improve symptoms or immune regulation, but the clinical short-term and long-term efficacy is general, the symptoms are easy to be repeated after drug withdrawal, and the long-term toxicity and side effects of drugs are obviously insufficient. Tian moxibustion therapy has a good effect on AR. Therefore, this paper will carry out a systematic evaluation and meta-analysis of the efficacy and safety of moxibustion in the treatment of allergic rhinitis. ⋯ INPLASY2020110058.

Stable angina pectoris (SAP) is a global health challenge. Multiple previous systematic reviews (SRs) have been conducted to assess the effectiveness of acupuncture and related therapies on SAP. We will carry out a comprehensive overview to map, synthesize, and assess the all the available evidence of acupuncture and related therapies on SAP. ⋯ CRD42020164466.
