Triple negative breast cancer affects 10% to 20% of all women diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to its characteristics, treatment strategies are limited and metastatic recurrences are common in the first 5 years after treatment. However, not all patients affected by this disease develop metastases. Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes have shown to be reliable predictive biomarkers of treatment response and metastatic recurrences. However, we need to develop simpler and faster ways to predict response to cytotoxic treatment and the possibility of eventual cancer relapse by identifying new biomarkers. Recently, new studies are emerging, suggesting a predictive role of circulating blood cells in different types of cancer. In this study, we will assess the correlation between tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and different elements of the blood count in patients diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. ⋯ The discovery of new prognostic and predictive biomarkers is crucial for triple negative breast cancer. We set up the PERCEPTION clinical trial in order to evaluate certain blood counts as early biomarkers and to assess their correlation with tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. Demonstration of comparative predictive and/or prognostic capacities of peripheral blood counts and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes would allow introduction of the former as simple and cheap biomarkers in triple negative breast cancer patient management.

This study sought to investigate the recent incidence rate of myopia in Chinese junior high school students and analyze the effect of time spent outdoors on myopia, in addition to facilitating the prevention and control of myopia among students. This study was derived from a national panel study, the China Education Panel Survey. We conducted three rounds of follow-up visits among 10,279 seventh grade students from 112 middle schools in 20 provinces in 2013. ⋯ For girls, compared with students who spent ≥14 hours/week outdoors, students with <7 hours/week spent outdoors retained a higher myopia rate (OR = 1.355; 95%CI: 1.067-1.720). Increased time spent outdoors can delay the development of myopia. In terms of gender, girls should be targeted to more effectively prevent and control the development and progression of myopia.

The effectiveness of iron supplementation for postpartum depression: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.
Postpartum depression (PPD) is one of the most common postpartum psychiatric disorders. The prevalence of PPD ranges from approximately 10% to 30%. In recent years, iron supplementation has emerged as potential means to treat PPD, and an increasing number of studies have been published to support the effectiveness of iron supplementation for PPD. we will conduct a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the evidence of randomized controlled trials for iron supplementation treatment of PPD. ⋯ INPLASY2020110007.

Efficacy and safety of warm needle acupuncture in knee osteoarthritis: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.
Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a chronic disease, which is also recognized as a common disease affecting the elderly. However, the application of Western medicine is limited in clinical because of its obvious adverse reactions. Warm needle acupuncture (WNA) has a long history in the treatment of KOA and is widely used in Chinese. Here we will submit a protocol to evaluate the efficacy and safety of WNA in the treatment of KOA. ⋯ OSF Preregistration. 2020, October 11; osf.io/bu5qw.

Hepatolithiasis commonly occurs in the bile duct proximal to the confluence of the right and left hepatic ducts, regardless of the coexistence of gallstones in gallbladder or the common bile duct. Clinical research proves that minimally invasive surgery is effective in the treatment of hepatolithiasis. Although previous meta-analysis also shows that it could reduce intraoperative bleeding and blood transfusion, and shorten hospital stay time, there are few meta-analyses on its long-term efficacy. We conducted the meta-analysis and systematic review to systematically evaluate the long-term efficacy and advantages of minimally invasive hepatectomy in the treatment of hepatolithiasis. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/H6WRV.
