Angiosarcoma is a rare malignant tumors. The objective of this study is to report a patient who suffered from a progressive low back pain and left lower extremities radiation pain for about 8 months, After diagnoses, this was identified as an extremely rare case of primary multiple angiosarcoma of vertebra. ⋯ This article emphasizes primary multiple angiosarcoma of vertebra. Despite being rare, it should be part of the differential when the patient manifested back pain and radiculopathy. We recommended the minimally invasive pedicle screw fixation for angiosarcoma of vertebra. Osteoplasty by bone cement augmentation was also an ideal choice for surgical treatment. It also advocates the use of specific targeted radiotherapy drugs based on gene analysis of tumors.

Approximately 30% to 40% of all patients with adult-onset Still disease (AOSD) experience relapses, sometimes presenting as chronic damage, and these events can subsequently increase the morbidity and mortality in patients with AOSD. However, few studies are investigating the factors related to relapse in such patients. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the risk factors associated with relapse of AOSD. ⋯ According to the results of multivariate logistic regression analysis, arthritis (odds ratio [OR] = 19.530, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 5.047-75.582, P < .001) and lymphadenopathy (OR = 6.539, 95% CI: 2.329-18.358, P < .001) predicted the development of recurrent events in patients with AOSD. Patients with AOSD had frequent relapses during the clinical course of their disease. Risk factors associated with flares were the presence of arthritis and lymphadenopathy.

Primary leptomeningeal melanomatosis successfully treated with PD-1 inhibitor pembrolizumab: A case report.
Primary leptomeningeal melanoma is an extremely rare disease of the central nervous system. There are no standard treatment protocols with a poor prognosis in very few reported cases. Immunotherapy in primary brain melanoma has not been successfully applied so far. ⋯ Our report describes durable intracranial tumor response suggesting the efficacy of PD-1 inhibitor pembrolizumab for central nervous system primary leptomeningeal melanoma.

This study aimed to investigate the correlation of long non-coding RNA taurine upregulated gene 1 (lncRNA TUG1) with microRNA-223 (miR-223) as well as their associations with risk, severity, and mortality of sepsis. Totally122 sepsis patients and 122 healthy controls were enrolled. Plasma lncRNA TUG1 and miR-223 levels were detected by reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction. ⋯ Moreover, in sepsis patients, lncRNA TUG1 expression was negatively correlated with respiratory infection, serum creatinine (Scr), white blood cell (WBC), C-reactive protein (CRP), APACHE II score, and SOFA score but positively correlated with albumin (all P < .05); miR-223 expression was negatively correlated with skin and soft tissue infection and albumin but positively correlated with Scr, WBC, CRP, APACHE II score, and SOFA score (all P < 0.05). As to mortality, lncRNA TUG1 expression was decreased (P = .001) but miR-223 was elevated (P < .001) in 28-day sepsis deaths compared with 28-day sepsis survivors. Our findings offer the potential of lncRNA TUG1 and miR-223 as biomarkers for progression and prognosis of sepsis.
