Targeting protein for Xenopus kinesin-like protein 2 (TPX2) has been identified as an oncogene in multiple cancers. However, the associations among TPX2 expression, prognosis, and tumor immunity in hepatic cell cancer (HCC) have not been explored. We analyzed TPX2 expression by multiple gene expression databases, including Oncomine, TIMER, and UALCAN. ⋯ In addition, TPX2 expression has a positive association with the infiltration of immune cells and the expression of immune checkpoint molecules. Coexpressed genes and functional network analysis suggested several potential mechanisms of TPX2 affecting HCC progression. The findings reveal that TPX2 has associations with prognosis and infiltration of immune cells in HCC patients, which has laid a basis for in-depth study of TPX2 role in HCC.

Known as an endocrine disorder, Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) has posed an influence on 6% to 20% reproductive females worldwide. The commonly used pharmaceutical agents currently are Oral Contraceptives (OCs) and insulin-sensitizing agents. However, OCs is not appropriate for females pursuing pregnancy. Furthermore, some of insulin-sensitizing agents are found to be related to a high incidence of gastrointestinal adverse effects. In this regard, the effectiveness of Chinese herbal medicine in handling reproductive and metabolic defects simultaneously has been proved by extensive evidence. In this research, the effectiveness and safety of Chinese herbal medicine for obese females with PCOS were examined. ⋯ Open Science Framework (OSF) Preregistration: osf.io/yp86h.

Clinical study on electroacupuncture for obese patients with binge eating disorder: A retrospective study.
Binge eating disorder (BED) is a common dietary disorder among obese people. Obesity and eating disorders are related to mental health and physical health. At present, there is no definite and effective method for treatment in clinic. ⋯ The dietary energy and three major nutrients in the electroacupuncture combined with cognitive group were lower than those in the cognitive group and the blank group (P < .05). The current results suggest that electroacupuncture combined with cognitive therapy is more effective than cognitive therapy alone in treating obese patients with BED. Future prospective studies are necessary to further study the mechanism of electroacupuncture on the obese with BED.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Effects of Danlou tablet for the treatment of stable angina pectoris: A study protocol of a randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled clinical trial.
Stable angina pectoris has a high prevalence and causes serious harm. Revascularization therapy can relieve angina pectoris to some extent, but it is not widely accepted in China due to the cost and secondary events. The Chinese proprietary medicine Danlou tablet has been widely used to treat angina pectoris, but previous trials had inadequate methodologies. In this study, we aim to conduct a randomized controlled trial to evaluate its efficacy and safety on stable angina. ⋯ This study has been approved by the Ethics Committee of Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in Beijing, China (No. 2019-225-KY).

Meta Analysis
The effectiveness of acupuncture and moxibustion for treating tenosynovitis: A systematic review and meta-analysis protocol.
De Quervain's tenosynovitis is an overuse disease that involves a thickening of the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis tendons. Evidence shows that acupuncture and moxibustion (AM) could remarkably relieve the pain of De Quervain's tenosynovitis patients. The aim of this protocol is to determine the efficacy and safety of AM for treating De Quervain's tenosynovitis. ⋯ CRD42020158764.
