The treatment of recurrent cervical cancer, especially pelvic locoregional recurrence, is very challenging for gynecologic oncologists. This study investigated the efficacy and safety of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)-based concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) with Endostar, a novel modified recombinant human endostatin, in patients with pelvic locoregional recurrence of cervical cancer following surgical treatment. This phase 2 study was conducted between May 2018 and May 2019 at a single center in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and enrolled 31 patients with pelvic locoregional recurrence of cervical cancer following surgical treatment. ⋯ No cases of grade 4 acute toxicity were observed. IMRT-based CCRT with Endostar infusions is effective and safe. Our results support the use of this treatment for patients with pelvic locoregional recurrence of cervical cancer following surgical treatment.

Oral mucositis (OM), one of the most common side effects for cancer patients who have undergone chemotherapy, can cause severe impairment to patients' functional ability and impact their quality of life, resulting in delayed and/or incomplete treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine offers empirical herbal decoctions to gargle for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced OM; however, evidence for its clinical efficacy and safety is lacking. Therefore, we provide a protocol to evaluate the preventive effect and safety of Chinese herbal medicine mouthwash in chemotherapy-induced OM. ⋯ CRD42020206614.

Case Reports
Complete monoplegia due to limb-kinetic apraxia in a patient with traumatic brain injury: A case report.
Limb-kinetic apraxia (LKA) is a disorder of movement execution that is a result of injury to the corticofugal tracts (CFTs) from the secondary motor area. We report on a patient with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and complete monoplegia due to LKA, which was mainly ascribed to injury of the CFT from the secondary motor area using diffusion tensor tractography. ⋯ The LKA due to injury of the left supplementary motor area-CFT was demonstrated in a patient with complete monoplegia following TBI. Accurate diagnosis of LKA is important for successful rehabilitation because LKA is known to respond to dopaminergic drug treatment.

Meta Analysis
Effects of Chaihu-Shugan-San for reflux esophagitis: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.
Reflux esophagitis (RE) is a common disease which is caused by the reflux of stomach and duodenal contents. As a classic prescription of traditional Chinese medicine, Chaihu-Shugan-San (CSS) has been used in the treatment of RE. However, no critically designed overview to evaluate the systematic review of CSS for RE has been carried out. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CSS in the treatment of RE. ⋯ The findings will be an available reference to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CSS on RE and provide decision-making reference on which method to choose for clinicians.

Laryngopharyngeal Reflux disease refers to abnormal reflux of gastric contents through the esophagus into the throat, which irritates and damages the pharyngeal mucosa, and causes corresponding symptoms. Proton Pump Inhibitors are an important class of gastric acid secretion inhibitors after H2 receptor blockers, which can be used clinically to treat peptic ulcer, abnormal gastric acid secretion and other related diseases. The common clinical drugs include omeprazole, lansoprazole, rabeprazole and so on. Clinical practice has shown that Proton Pump Inhibitors have a good therapeutic effect on Laryngopharyngeal Reflux disease, but evidence of evidence-based medicine is lacking. The purpose of this protocol is to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Proton Pump Inhibitors in the treatment of Laryngopharyngeal Reflux disease and to improve the evidence-based basis for the clinical application of Proton Pump Inhibitors in the treatment of Laryngopharyngeal Reflux disease. ⋯ This study will provide reliable evidence-based evidence for the clinical application of Proton Pump Inhibitors in the treatment of Laryngopharyngeal Reflux disease.OSF Registration number: DOI 10.17605 / OSF.IO / NY6SC.
