Randomized Controlled Trial
An integrative cognitive rehabilitation using neurologic music therapy in multiple sclerosis: A pilot study.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a demyelinating disease, affecting both the sensorimotor and cognitive systems. The typical pattern of cognitive impairment includes reduced speed of information processing, decreased phonological and semantic speech fluency, deficits in verbal and visual episodic memory, as well as attention and executive dysfunctions. We aimed to investigate the influence of the neurologic music therapy (NMT) on mood, motivation, emotion status, and cognitive functions in patients with MS. ⋯ NMT could be considered a complementary approach to enhance CCR in patients affected by MS.

The surgical management of acute malignant left-sided bowel obstruction is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Recently, transanal drainage tubes (DTs) and metallic stents (MSs) used as a "bridge to surgery" have become widely used decompression methods compared with emergency surgery. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of DTs and MSs for the decompression of acute left-sided malignant colorectal obstruction. ⋯ MS insertion for acute left-sided malignant bowel obstruction is effective and safe with a better technical success rate and with fewer complications than decompression using a DT, and MS insertion can avoid stoma formation. Moreover, MS insertion appears to be a useful treatment strategy for malignant colonic obstruction even if the lesion is located in the right colon. More large-sample, multicenter, high-quality RCTs are needed to verify the outcomes of this meta-analysis.

Review Case Reports
Pulmonary intimal sarcoma involving the pulmonary valve and right ventricular outflow tract: A case report and literature review.
Pulmonary artery intimal sarcoma (PAIS) is a rare and highly aggressive tumor, and approximately 80% of pulmonary cases occur in the pulmonary trunk. We report herein a case of retrograde extension of the sarcoma to the pulmonary valve and right ventricle, which is an uncommon manifestation of this lethal tumor. ⋯ Owing to the rarity of the disease and its non-specific clinical manifestations, approximately half of the PAIS cases are misdiagnosed or have a delayed diagnosis. Thus, improving our understanding of the disease and facilitating its early diagnosis are essential.

Meta Analysis
Association of rs2230806 in ABCA1 with coronary artery disease: An updated meta-analysis based on 43 research studies.
As a key gene in the reverse transport pathway of cholesterol, ABCA1 (ATP-binding cassette transporter A1) plays an important role in the pathogenesis of coronary artery disease (CAD). In the ABCA1, rs2230806 is the most widely studied polymorphism and its role has been controversial. ⋯ The K allele of rs2230806 was significantly associated with decreased risk of CAD, especially in Asian populations and small sample Caucasians.

S-1 plus apatinib as first-line palliative treatment for stage IVB gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma: A case report and review of the literature.
Apatinib has been proven to significantly prolong the survival of the patients with advanced chemotherapy-refractory gastric cancer. To date, studies on apatinib plus S-1 as first-line palliative therapy for metastatic gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer are rare. ⋯ Apatinib plus S-1 might be an alternative option for late-stage GEJ cancer. However, high-quality trials are warranted before the recommendation of this therapeutic regimen.
