Repetitive peripheral magnetic stimulation (rPMS) therapy is an innovative and minimally invasive neurorehabilitative technique and has been shown to facilitate neural plasticity. However, there is at present no research that clarifies the dose-response of rPMS therapy on the recovery of upper limb hemiparesis after stroke. This trial aims to clarify the dose-response of rPMS therapy combined with intensive occupational therapy (OT) for chronic stroke patients with moderate to severe upper limb hemiparesis. ⋯ The study was approved by the Jikei University Certified Review Board for all institutions (reference number: JKI19-020). Results of the primary and secondary outcomes will be published in a peer-reviewed journal and presented at international congresses. The results will also be disseminated to patients.

The 2019 novel coronavirus disease has caused a global pandemic with substantial morbidity and mortality. Chinese medicine has been extensively employed in the coronavirus-related pandemic in China. We aim to assess the efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine in treatment of coronavirus-related pneumonia with the updated results of relevant clinical trials. ⋯ The relevant studies will be summarized and further evidence will be provided.PROSPERO registration number: CRD42020178879.

Sirtuins (SIRTs), a class of nicotinamide-adenine dinucleotide (NAD)+-dependent deacetylases, involve in modulating carcinogenesis and progression of various malignancies through their regulation of the cancer metabolism. However, the expression profiles and prognostic roles of SIRTs in ovarian cancer (OC) remain unclear. We underscore the transcriptional expression and prognostic significance of SIRTs in OC patients using online databases. ⋯ Additionally, aberrant SIRTs mRNA levels were related to the prognosis of OC patients with different clinicopathological characteristics. This is the first study to integrate bioinformatics approaches intended to identify the expression profiles and prognostic value of SIRTs in OC. These results suggest that SIRTs is related to the prognosis of OC and may be the potential therapeutic interventions in OC.

In the current literature, studies assessing the role of Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection in psoriasis have reported conflicting data. Therefore, we investigated the association between HP infection and psoriasis using a nationwide population-based longitudinal cohort study. ⋯ This retrospective population-based longitudinal cohort study, conducted in Taiwan, found no association between HP infection and risk of psoriasis. Further research may be warranted.

Chronic bronchitis (CB) is a clinically common and recurrent respiratory disease. However, many trials have shown that acupuncture can effectively treat CB. There is currently no systematic review of this therapy. The plan is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of this treatment in patients with CB. ⋯ CRD42020170287.
