Diabetic nephropathy is glomerular sclerosis caused by diabetic microvascular disease, which is one of the most serious complications of diabetes. At present, the traditional treatment of diabetic nephropathy is mainly based on the control of blood pressure, blood sugar, blood lipids, and other basic treatments using angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor/angiotensin receptor blocker, the clinical reports of relying solely on angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor/ angiotensin receptor blocker to delay the course of diabetic nephropathy are not optimistic. Yuquan pill (YQP), a classic traditional Chinese medicine prescription, has clinical reports that it can effectively assist in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy with minimal side effects. However, there has been no systematic review of the YQP in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. This article systematically evaluated the effectiveness and safety of YQP clinical applications. ⋯ INPLASY202150030.

Increasing attention has been paid to acupuncture and auricular acupressure as alternative strategies for cancer related fatigue (CRF) management. Therefore, we design this systematic review and meta-analysis to explore the efficacy and safety of acupuncture and auricular acupressure for relieving CRF in patients during lung cancer chemotherapy. ⋯ Combined acupuncture and auricular acupressure may be effective for relieving CRF in patients during lung cancer chemotherapy.

Effects of Shenfu injection on inflammatory factors and immune function in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae: A protocol for a double-blind, randomized controlled trial.
Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) is a common infectious respiratory disease in pediatrics, and macrolide antibiotics are the optimal treatment option. In recent years, there is a significant increase in the resistance of this pathogen to macrolide antibiotics, which makes the clinical treatment of this disease increasingly complex. Shenfu injection (SFI), a herbal extract injection, has advantages of improving immune function, reducing inflammatory reaction, improving curative effect and shortening the course of disease in the treatment of pediatric MP. However, there is a lack of rigorous clinical studies to evaluate the effects of SFI on inflammatory factors and immune function in children with MP. ⋯ In this study, an evaluation was conducted on the effects of SFI on inflammatory factors and immune function in pediatric MP. The results of this experiment will provide a clinical basis for the adjuvant treatment of pediatric MP with SFI.

Osteoporosis is a common condition that affects bones. Osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) is a highly prevalent complication related to osteoporosis. Each year, OVCF affects nearly 700,000 individuals. Nowadays, there are many surgical methods to treat OVCF, and each has distinct advantages. Among them, the efficacy and safeness of vertebroplasty are yet to be established. The present article will systematically ascertain the effectiveness and security of using vertebroplasty to treat OVCF. ⋯ Our findings will present strong evidence to help determine whether vertebroplasty therapy is efficient and safe for OVCF patients.

To our knowledge, there is no comprehensive evidence quantifying the plausibility of the association between maternal free sugar intake during pregnancy and the development of offspring's allergic diseases. Thus, this systematic review examines the weight of evidence for causality from cohort studies on the association between maternal free sugar intake during pregnancy and the development of allergies in offspring. ⋯ It is hypothesized that high free sugar consumption during pregnancy may be associated with the development of allergies in offspring.
