Plantar fasciitis (PF) is the most common cause of heel pain in adult. There are a variety of ways to treat PF, but these treatments have varied result in their effectiveness, and exist different degrees of limitations. At present, clinical studies focus on the effect of glucocorticoid (GC) and platelet rich plasma (PRP) in the treatment of PF, but there is a lack of systematic evaluation PRP and GC's clinical effect towards PF. This study aims to evaluate the long-term efficacy of GCs and PRP in the treatment of PF by means of meta-analysis. ⋯ A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted for the comparison of the long-term effect of PRP and GC on plantar fascia in the treatment of PF.

Diagnostic value of microRNA-148/152 family in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC): A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer with extremely high morbidity and mortality. ⋯ Current evidence indicated that miR-148/152 family might be served as novel non-invasive diagnostic biomarkers for NSCLC diagnosis with good sensitivity and specificity. it still needs more research with high quality, large sample sizes, and multiple centers for further verification.

Observational Study
Monitoring the Sequential Organ Failure Assessment score in nonocclusive mesenteric ischemia increases the survival rate: A single-center observational study.
Several large-scale studies have assessed the endovascular and surgical treatments for nonocclusive mesenteric ischemia (NOMI); nonetheless, the prognostic factors for NOMI remain unclear. In this single-center study, we retrospectively reviewed the electronic medical records of 197, 149 patients were retrieved from the inpatient database of our hospital from January 2011 to January 2020; 79 patients with NOMI were observed. A total of 44 patients who underwent laparotomy were statistically analyzed and divided into the survivor and non-survivor groups. ⋯ Multivariate analysis using the factors with significant differences revealed that SOFA score ≥10 (hazard ratio for death, 1.199; 95% confidence interval, 1.101-1.305; P < .001) was an independent prognostic factor. The SOFA score can be used to assess disease severity. A SOFA score of ≥10 may be associated with increased mortality.

Chronic renal failure (CRF) is the final outcome of the development of multiple kidney diseases, and there is no effective method at home and abroad. Traditional Chinese medicine is found to play a major role in the treatment of the non-replacement stage of CRF. Shenkang injection can not only nourish the kidney, but also promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, which is suitable for the treatment of CRF. This study aims to explore the efficacy and safety of Shenkang injection for CRF and provide evidence for clinical practice. ⋯ This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of Shenkang injection for CRF, and the results of this trial will provide clinical evidence for the treatment of CRF.

Effects of robot (SUBAR)-assisted gait training in patients with chronic stroke: Randomized controlled trial.
SUBAR is a new ground walking exoskeletal robot. The objective of this study is to investigate SUBAR-assisted gait training's effects in patients with chronic stroke. ⋯ Our results suggest that SUBAR-assisted gait training improved gait parameters in patients with chronic stroke. However, there was no significant difference in most outcome measures compared to conventional physiotherapy. Further research is warranted to measure the effects of SUBAR-assisted gait training.
