The association between the use of bisphosphonates (BPs) and the risk of lung cancer has been concerned recently. There is no explicit study indicating that whether the use of BPs would affect the risk of lung cancer. So, we conducted a meta-analysis to figure out the relationship between BPs and lung cancer. ⋯ And there was no significant association between the use of BPs and lung cancer. However, exposure to alendronate may increase the risk of lung cancer. More studies are needed to confirm our findings.

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA), also known as degenerative osteoarthritis, is a common and frequently occurring disease in orthopedics with cartilage degeneration as the pathogenic cause and articular bone hyperplasia as the sign. Many studies have confirmed that KOA can be effectively treated by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) external treatment. So we take advantage of the method of network meta-analysis to systematically compare the efficacy and safety of different types of TCM external treatment for the KOA. ⋯ : 10.37766/inplasy2020.12.0001.

Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is a common complication of diabetes and the main cause of disability. At present, there is no specific therapeutic regimen. Mecobalamin is often used as a neurotrophic drug, and its long-term effects are not satisfactory when used alone. Clinical practice indicates that traditional Chinese medicine injection with mecobalamin has a therapeutic advantage in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy while it lacks evidence-based medicine. In this scheme, the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine injection with mecobalamin in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy has been studied. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/KPW5E.

Congenital heart disease in children with pulmonary hypertension is a common and serious complication, which has a direct impact on the surgical effect and prognosis of children. Bosentan and vardenafil are commonly used drugs for the treatment of postoperative pulmonary hypertension in children with congenital heart disease, and there are few clinical studies on their combined use. Therefore, the purpose of this randomized controlled trial is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the combined use of 2 drugs in the treatment of postoperative pulmonary hypertension in children with congenital heart disease. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/962BT.
