Meta Analysis
Prognosis and predictive value of heat-shock proteins expression in oral cancer: A PRISMA-compliant meta-analysis.
Heat-shock proteins (HSP) is a key chaperone protein which maintains intracellular proteostasis and is expressed on the surface of solid and hematological malignancies. Several studies have reported paradoxical evidence of the association between HSP expression and prognosis of oral cancer. To address the discrepancy, we carried out the meta-analysis to assess the role of HSP such as: HSP70, HSP90, HSP27, HSP60, and HSP105 in susceptibility, progression, and prognosis of oral cancer. ⋯ HSP70 and HSP27 protein overexpression might be valuable biomarkers for the prognosis of oral cancer. And HSP70 and HSP60 might have potential predictive effects on the risk of oral cancer.

Review Case Reports
Symptomatic postoperative discal pseudocyst following percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy: A case report and review of the literature.
Percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy (PELD) is an effective treatment for lumbar disc herniation and postoperative discal pseudocyst (PDP) can rarely develop after PELD. ⋯ PDP is one of the rare complications of PELD, usually occurs in young patients. Patients with PDP have a low signal intensity on T1WI and high signal intensity on T2WI, which can be treated by conservative treatment, interventional therapy, and surgical treatment.

Recently, many clinical experiments have evaluated the influences of liraglutide in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. However, the outcomes of these studies are inconsistent, and the number of high-quality prospective trials that conducted to assess the cardiovascular safety is limited. Hence, for this research, it was implemented for the assessment of the cardiovascular effectiveness and safety of liraglutide in type 2 diabetes patients. ⋯ For this research, the limitations involve the short trial period and the limitation of glimepiride in some countries, thus excluding the maximum doses of glimepiride.

Meta Analysis
The association between rs1800872 polymorphism in interleukin-10 and risk of cervical cancer: A meta-analysis.
In recent years, several reports have tried to prove this connection between rs1800872 polymorphism in interleukin-10 and cervical cancer among different populations, but the results are debatable. Thus, we collected all the published literature and conducted an integrated meta-analysis, which provided better evidence-based medicine for the relationship between rs1800872 polymorphism in interleukin-10 and risk of cervical cancer. ⋯ Our conclusion is that the AC/AA + AC variant of Rs1800872 indicates a protective effect in the development of cervical cancer.

The combination of Chinese patent medicine Wenxin Granules (WXG) and antiarrhythmic drugs has been widely used in the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF), but the results are controversial. This study will conduct a network meta-analysis (NMA) based on data from randomized controlled trials to evaluate the efficacy and safety of WXG combined with ADDs (amiodarone, metoprolol, propafenone, bisoprolol, or other antiarrhythmic drugs) in the treatment of AF, which will perform comparisons or rankings of efficacy among the currently available therapeutic schemes in order to provide evidence to determine the optimal threshold and treatment regimen to AF patients. ⋯ The protocol will provide updated evidence for the application of WXG for AF.
