Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory infectious disease with a high fatality rate. Up to now, there are an estimated 26 million confirmed cases and 865,000 deaths around the world. But no effective way can control this disease. As the country that first discovered and treated the COVID-19, China has formed relatively mature prevention and treatment methods such as "3 prescriptions and 3 drugs." Xuan Fei Bai Du Fang, as a member of "3 prescriptions and 3 drugs," has very good clinical effects. ⋯ CRD42020213950.

Postcricoid neurofibroma is an extremely rare hypopharynx tumor that can be challenging in both diagnosis and treatment. This case sheds light on the possibility of treatment with transoral microsurgery before pursuing open cervical incisions. ⋯ Postcricoid neurofibroma is an extremely rare hypopharynx tumor that can be diagnostically challenging. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case reported of solitary neurofibroma originating from the postcricoid region of the hypopharynx and was surgically removed with transoral surgery through supporting laryngoscope.

Comparative Study
Dosimetric comparison of organs at risk in 5 different radiotherapy plans in patients with preoperatively irradiated rectal cancer.
Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) is a widely used irradiation technique in rectal cancer patients. We aimed to compare 4 different IMRT plans with 3-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) considering organs at risk (OARs) in patients with rectal carcinoma. ⋯ IMRT plans reduced almost all the OARs doses compared with the 3D-CRT plan in rectal cancer patients. Furthermore, SIB plans demonstrated lower OAR doses than the phase plans. IMRT techniques, especially SIB plans, reduce OAR doses and provide safer doses for the treatment of rectal carcinoma.

Motor-evoked potential (MEP) monitoring is an essential monitoring for clinicians to improve outcomes. Although unacceptable movement during MEP is a rare complication but it can lead to terrible results. The aim of this study was to evaluate the risk factors associated with unacceptable movements in patients undergoing brain surgery with MEP monitoring. ⋯ In addition, age (OR, 0.98; 95% CI, 0.96-0.99; P = .001), male sex (OR, 1.59; 95% CI, 1.09-2.33; P = .017), and body mass index (OR, 0.90; 95% CI, 0.86-0.95; P <0.0010) were also associated with unacceptable movement. Serum ionized calcium concentration was the best predictor associated with unacceptable movement with MEP monitoring under general anesthesia. Serum ionized calcium concentration was the best predictor associated with unacceptable movement with MEP monitoring under general anesthesia.

Primary cardiac lymphoma is a rare tumor, especially a tumor located in coronary sinus (CS). The most common symptom of cardiac tumors is dyspnea, accounting for 64%, followed by chest pain, accounting for 26%. However, the cases with paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) as a major clinical presentation are extremely rare. ⋯ CS enlargement may be the cause of SVT. Echocardiography should focus on the CS section to arrive at the right diagnosis.
