An increasing body of studies has investigated that genetic polymorphisms in microRNA (miRNA) may be related to susceptibility to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). However, some results remain controversial. Thus, a meta-analysis was embarked on assessing whether some miRNA polymorphisms are associated with the risk of RA and SLE. ⋯ Our results highlight that miR-499 rs3746444 may contribute to RA susceptibility, particularly in Caucasians. In addition, CC genotype in miR-146a rs2910164 may act as a protector of RA in Caucasians. For SLE, miR-146a rs2431697 (C/T) is most likely to the increased the risk of SLE. These findings do not support the genetic association between miR-196a2 rs11614913 and RA/SLE susceptibility, as well as the association of miR-146a rs2910164, miR-146a rs57095329, miR-499 rs3746444 with SLE.

Anorexia is a common and frequent disease in clinical pediatrics. It refers to a chronic digestive disorder syndrome with loss of appetite or disappearance and reduced food intake. The incidence of anorexia in children is very high, if not timely, safe and effective treatment, will have a huge impact on the growth and development of children. The toxic side effects of related treatment drugs often worry clinicians. Pediatric massage is external therapy, with green, safe and effective characteristics, lack of evidence-based medicine evidence support. A systematic evaluation and meta-analysis of the safety and efficacy of pediatric massage in the treatment of anorexia will be carried out in this paper to provide a powerful evidence. ⋯ INPLASY202130050.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is one of the most commonly reported mental health consequences, followed by disasters and traumatic events, either natural or man-made. At present, there are no unified results for the prevalence rate of PTSD in patients suffering from acute trauma and related influencing factors. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to systematically evaluate the existing literatures, thus obtaining a comprehensive estimation of the combined prevalence rate of PTSD and related factors in trauma patients, so as to provide evidence support for clinical disease prediction models and intervention strategies. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/Z275U.

Inflammation plays an important role in the pathophysiology of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Recent studies have indicated that the albumin to fibrinogen ratio (AFR) is a useful biomarker of inflammation. This research aimed to determine the ability of AFR to predict the prognosis of patients with SAH. ⋯ The ROC analysis revealed an area under the curve of 0.713 for AFR's ability to predict the 30-day outcomes. AFR is independently associated with the outcome of SAH patients. As a parameter that can be easily assessed at admission, AFR could be used to help the decision-making of clinical treatment.

Case Reports
Neuroblastoma metastasized to the mandible and the spinal extradural regions: A case report.
Neuroblastoma (NB) metastasized into the mandible and spinal extradural region was rarely reported. We present a case with metastatic NB to the mandible and the spinal extradural regions. The patient received chemotherapy using NB 97 regimen and was tumor free after 8 months, but 9 months after the treatment, the patient presented with lower limb paralysis and persistent pain in maxillofacial region as well as swelling in the left mandibular area. ⋯ For the management of the maxillofacial pain, tumor in the maxillofacial region was subject to a density of 50 Gy (25 fractions). The maxillofacial pain disappeared after a density of 10 Gy and soft tissue tumefaction was eliminated after a density of 50 Gy, and the maxillofacial appearance was much better than before. Finally, the patient died from tumor progression 2 years after diagnosis for NB.
