Review Case Reports
Myeloid sarcoma of the pancreas: A case report and literature review.
Myeloid sarcoma (MS) is an extramedullary mass, consisting of myeloid blasts with or without maturation, which efface the normal tissue architecture. It occurs mainly in lymph nodes, skin and soft tissue, testis, bone, peritoneum, and gastrointestinal tract, but rarely in the pancreas. Because their clinical courses, treatments, and prognoses are quite different, it is crucially important to distinguish between MS and pancreatic cancer. ⋯ When we encounter a patient suspected of pancreatic cancer with blood cell abnormalities and no significant increase in carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), we need to be aware of the possibility of pancreatic MS. Preoperative pathological biopsy and IHC are indispensable. Misdiagnosis is common if we rely solely on imaging.

Basic life support training programme in schools by school nurses: How long and how often to train?
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training in schools, despite being legislated in Spain, is not established as such within the subjects that children are taught in schools. ⋯ 11-year-old children do not perform quality chest compressions or ventilations but, considering their age, they are able to perform a BLS sequence correctly.

In recent years, with the accelerated pace of life, diet, environmental problems occur frequently. External factors are easily to cause endocrine disorders and hormone sensitivity of breast tissue, which can lead to mammary hyperplasia. The incidence rate of hyperplasia of mammary glands is increasing year by year, and the age of onset is also getting lower and lower. If not treated in time, there is a crisis of breast cancer.Clinical studies have found that auricular point pressing therapy is widely used in clinical treatment of mammary hyperplasia recently, but the efficacy of massage in the treatment of mammary hyperplasia has not been systematically reviewed. The purpose of this study is to explore the efficacy, safety and effectiveness of auricular point pressing therapy in the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands. ⋯ INPLASY202110028.

Diastolic heart failure (DHF) is an important pathological type of heart failure, that involves multiple organ dysfunction and multiple complications. The prevalence of DHF is high, and effective treatments are lacking. Chinese herbs are an alternative therapy for DHF. Shen'ge formula (SGF) is a classical formula from which patients can benefit, but convincing evidence of its efficacy is lacking. Therefore, we designed this randomized controlled trial protocol. ⋯ The results of this trial will demonstrate whether SGF could alleviate symptoms, improve cardiac function, reduce readmission rates, and improve quality of life of patients with DHF.

We evaluated the clinical characteristics of autoimmune manifestations (AIMs) associated with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) to elucidate whether AIMs impacted MDS outcomes in Japan. This retrospective study including 61 patients who received a new diagnosis of MDS between January 2008 and December 2015 was conducted by the review of electronic medical records for the presence of AIMs within a 1-year period prior to or following the diagnosis of MDS. AIMs were identified in 12 of the 61 (20.0%) patients with MDS. ⋯ This retrospective study revealed that the prognosis was poor in patients with MDS-associated AIMs. The treatment of MDS using the current algorithms is based on prognostic scoring systems such as IPSS. Treatment strategies for patients with MDS-associated AIMs should be reconsidered, even in those with low-risk MDS according to the IPSS.
