There is no review or meta-analysis to compare the efficacy and safety of methotrexate plus anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) therapy in patients with diabetic macular edema (DME). It is worthy to critically review the evidence of the assessment of combined therapies to inform clinical practice. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy and safety of methotrexate plus anti-VEGF therapy in the treatment of DME and to provide evidence for clinical practice. ⋯ 10.17605/OSF.IO/APD6 V.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
Effects of acupoint massage combined with relaxation therapy on patients with postoperative fatigue syndrome after lumbar surgery.
: Lumbar disc herniation (LDH) is a common disease in orthopedics. Surgery is shown to provide significant faster relief of pain compared to conservative therapy. However, due to the influence of surgical trauma, anesthesia and other perioperative stress factors, patients may have complications. Among them, postoperative fatigue syndrome (POFS) is a common complication. Traditional Chinese medicine or integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine have been proved to be effective in improving postoperative fatigue. ⋯ : This study is to observe the effects of acupoint massage comblined with relaxation therapy on reducing postoperative fatigue of lumbar disc herniation surgical patients.

Sintilimab induced diabetic ketoacidosis in a patient with small cell lung cancer: A case report and literature review.
Sintilimab is a novel programmed cell death receptor-1 (PD-1) inhibitor approved in the treatment of classical Hodgkin's lymphoma and undergoing clinical trials for various malignancies. As a PD-1 inhibitor, sintilimab is known to cause autoimmune adverse events similar to other PD-1 inhibitors. Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a rare but severe adverse event of this therapy. ⋯ This case and associated literature review illustrate the importance of educating and monitoring patients who start PD-1 inhibitor therapy regarding this potentially life-threatening complication.

Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm of the breast: A case report and review of the literature.
Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is an uncommon and aggressive hematologic malignancy that arises from plasmacytoid dendritic cells. BPDCN typically presents with skin lesions with or without involvement of lymph nodes, peripheral blood, or bone marrow. However, breast involvement of BPDCN is rare and there has been no report describing the radiologic features of BPDCN within breast parenchyma. ⋯ This is the first case of BPDCN manifested as a breast parenchymal mass and assessed by diagnostic breast imaging tools (mammography and ultrasonography). This case report is significant for BPDCN within the breast parenchyma and presenting rare radiologic description of BPDCN.
